Positive: The location is great, you are close to nature but at the same time have a bus stop nearby and a store where you can do all the necessary shopping. When the weather is sunny, the view outside is spectacular. Seeing an otter frolicking beneath the jacuzzi patio was great. There was also a fox and medusas. Very convenient parking, great supply of kitchenware. Another great perk is the oven.
Negative: We rented the Owl apartment and there was one big issue - the bed was located right next to where the staircase leads to other apartments and you could hear the thumping of other guests which was especially problematic during the night and early in the morning. You could even feel the walls shaking. Fortunately, the apartment has a sleeping sofa in the main room so I could move there, but I think the bedroom should be somehow sound-proofed. Another thing is that there was no wardrobe where we could store our things. We stayed for 5 nights and could really do with a wardrobe.

Positive: Loved the view over the water and proximity to good hiking, also really close to airport and Tromso. Loved the design of the place and little touches like a window in the floor to look at the fishes etc. So cool!
Negative: Not much kitchen surface space to prepare a big meal for lots of people and perhaps not enough kitchen utensils. Cushy sofa would also have been good.

Positive: Location was good, staff was friendly and the coffee machine was nice.
Negative: There was no mention about ongoing renovation which started at 7am really loud in the basement.
Summary: Without renovation noice stay would have been really great.

Positive: Beautiful location, the whale apartment has an excellent view through all windows and it's beautiful waking up in the bed with this view. The apartment is well equipped, pretty and clean. It's an expensive but very nice place. We rented the jacuzzi for 1,5h which was pretty expensive. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was so heavily chlorinated that we couldn't turn the bubbles on due to gas development. We are both not particularly sensitive but got really irritated eyes and had to start coughing heavily. We did see the northern lights during the stay in the jacuzzi but had to get out of it and stay in the cold to look at them since you cannot turn the lights off surrounding the jacuzzi. Also at least during winter it's not secure since the railing surrounding the platform are missing. But all in all it was worth it to see the northern lights and get back in and out to warm up.

Positive: Beautiful view. Attractive apartment. Very clean.
Negative: Not functional. -While it advertised a kitchen- no kettle or coffee maker. No toaster. -No where at all to put clothes- no wardrobe or even shelves. -Double bed with only single duvet and only 1 pillow. -only 1 very poor quality small bath towel and one hand towel. Additional towels available for a fee.
