Summary: Easy drive to town, great views. Very quiet! The only problem we had was there was dog hair on the couch and pillows and they out the home . Unfortunately we are allergic to dogs and so we were sneezing most of the time that we were in the house . But other than that it was a great stay and view was fabulous! It’s a little bit older than what the picture portray .

Summary: The property was nice. The location is great. It is quiet, and we had access to the garage. I felt the property was a bit overpriced for the quality. Some things were very nice, and others needed maintenance. The caretaker was nice and easy to communicate with.

Summary: My wife and I rented the house in September 2014 and 2015, and were very happy with both the house and the setting. The house and views actually are just like the pictures show. Everything in the house works well. One of the challenges was to avoid wasting away the day sitting on the deck looking down the valley. Modern kitchen, very comfortable living room, dining table for twelve, and a giant master bedroom with private bath. The master BR has two sliding doors that open directly on the deck. A large hot tub sits at the deck, and is perfect for night sky watching. The house is far enough from town that it's quiet and isolated, yet getting to town is only a ten minute drive. No problem with neighbors. Multiple hiking trails are a short drive. Mad Creek is just a five minute drive, and a two-mile hike takes you back to a natural pool in the mountains. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Caretaker lives in basement but is not a problem for privacy at all... He has is own entrance. If I come back I will definitely try to get this house again. Nicely remodeled 1970's Era house with wonderful views and spacious living area. Perfect for skiing or a summer outdoors adventure base.
