Summary: Steeple Hill was just what was needed. It was safe and clean, easy to get to, and in such a friendly community. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay and community to visit.

Summary: The steeple flat was fairly nice. It was clean. We had the upper flat. We could hear everything from the people underneath us and from the other unit (which I believe must be the owners because they had a dog which is not allowed in the units). There was not a trash can in the bathroom but that is san easy fix. The bed was comfortable. They ask that you wash the dishes before you check out otherwise there will be a fee. The funny thing is you have to wash everything in either the bathroom sink, shower or bathtub. This turned me off from using any dishes. I would not plan on visiting Bayfield/Madeline Island towards the end of October. Everything was either closed, closing for the season on Sunday or were out of items on their menu because they were getting ready to close for the season. Actually, I would come back to kayak the sea caves (which we did not do this time) but would travel to another town because we were not impressed with what Bayfield or Madeline Island had to offer. Two days was wayyyy too long to be here.

Summary: The views and patio are absolutely wonderful. It's bright and cheery and we really loved the local coffee and high quality soaps, shampoo, bath salts. The robes were a nice touch...and that tub!!!! We were surprised that there wasn't kleenex or a waste basket in the batroom, no hangers, no hooks for things, and no mat or tray for shoes/boots. The pictures showed bottled water and a hot water kettle that were not actually provided- so be aware that you'll need to bring your own water unless you want to drink from the faucet in the bathroom. The walkway in the back is VERY dark at night. We had to use the flashlight on our phones and had issues when ordering food for delivery because they couldn't see the back entrance. Overall a nice stay and a pretty property.

Summary: The views were what drew us to staying here. There were so many high end touches, luxurious robes, specialty coffee, a soaking tub with bath salts, amazing quality bed linens, a perfect little sheltered patio… Though the weather wasn’t what we hoped the best part of our trip was spending time in the condo listening to the gentle rain buried in a book with long pauses taking in the view then taking a long soak in that fabulous tub! It was just the kind of get away we needed. It was also great just walking to all the amazing shops and restaurants. Perfect location! Steeple Hill Flats is our new favorite vacation place!❤️

Summary: We were in Bayfield for the Point to LaPointe open water swim. The location was perfect. Short walk to downtown with a great view of the lake. It was a quiet neighborhood. Perfect size for our group and needs.
