The River House is a two story house with a fully equipped unit upstairs as well as downstairs. The house sits directly on the river, and comes with it's own boat dock. River House A is the downstairs unit. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed and master bath. The second bedroom has 1 queen bed, and the third bedroom has two fulls. There is a sleeper sofa located in the living room. No smoking, but does allow pets. This cottage does not offer internet.

Summary: We had our annual family gathering in Steinhatchee. What a fabulous place. We rented 3 homes. #17 was beautiful! Everything was as expected and the view is amazing. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Summary: We had a great time. Great area. Loved having the boat in front of us and the ability watch the boaters head out from the porch. Not having to fight for a boat slip was nice. The kitchen was a little tight quarter, but we made it work for our crew. We will certainly try and book our next trip there at that unit.

Summary: We had an awesome time. The location is perfect, view is amazing, ease of checking in and out was my favorite. Our only complaint as a group is the mattresses were really really uncomfortable and not enough pillows. However those are extremely minor. I’d rent this place over and over again.

Summary: We came for a girls weekend. Three bedrooms were perfect for us. We had pretty minimal needs since we were only staying the weekend. But the location and ease of check in and out will likely bring us back again! We had a great time!

Summary: The property and amenities were wonderful. The house is older, but as advertised. The community area and pool were great places to relax after a day of scalloping. Boat dock nice perk. We rented a boat for two days and kept it there overnight. Made loading and unloading so easy.

Summary: We were on the bottom level. The owner's family occupied the top level. The owner's family overtook the laundry room, cook-out area, picnic tables and storage space. I believe we counted 4 small children who woke up very early running around and the little steps could be heard at the bottom level which is where we were staying. The furniture is extremely low to the ground (two black sofas/futons) and EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The bathroom counters and toilets are way too low - may be out of current code. The bunk bed squeaked all night and was held together with a piece of 2X4. There is no wifi - my plans to stay connected with work were impossible. I had a better connection on my phone at the convenience store. The owners use a Verizon hotspot which sucks; this is not Wifi. The upstairs guest which we figured out later was related to the owner - overtook the laundry room, both washers and dryers were taken by the first floor. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and could not cookout due to the upstairs guest utilizing the cooking gazebo and picnic area. We came to the conclusion that renting in the Landing area is difficult especially if you bring a boat and trailer...trying to find parking for your boat trailer can be difficult. We'll return to the condos with a boat ramp and slip.

Summary: All of us had a great time., it was the first time the kids had been to steinhatchee. The kids all caught lots of fish , we visited steinhatchee falls and generally enjoyed the area. Thank you.
