Positive: We were very impressed with our stay at Stell Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful right from check-in. To our surprise, they showed us two different rooms to choose from, which is something most local hotels don’t usually offer. Our original booking was for one double bed and one single bed, but they went out of their way to accommodate our request for 3 single beds. They even offered us a one-bedroom flat-style suite with a double bed, a sofa bed, a large living space, and even a washing machine. The second option was a room with three separate beds. Having this choice was such a pleasant surprise and really showed their excellent service. Overall, the suite we chose was very spacious, nicely done, and comfortable. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
Negative: he main issue was with the food service. There were long queues for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we often had to rush to eat before the restaurants closed. Extending meal times, especially in summer when the hotel is fully booked, would really help. The choice of food was also limited — mostly vegetables, fish, and fruit, with very little meat. Since Turkey is famous for kebabs and BBQ, our children were disappointed, and we often went out to nearby cafés and kebab houses, which were excellent and reasonably priced. We also found the hotel taxi service more expensive than booking in advance through platforms like Booking.com. Street taxis were even more costly, so it’s best to arrange transport ahead of time with your operator. Similarly, some tours offered through the hotel were not clearly explained — for example, we paid around $370 for two people for paragliding, expecting a long experience, but the flight itself was only 15 minutes, whereas others offered 30 minutes for the same price. Most services also required cash, which was inconvenient. Another point to note is the hotel’s “All Inclusive & Spa” name. The spa is not actually included — there are extra charges, which can be misleading. The hotel is also very strict about late check-out and may charge extra if you stay past the time. Tips for future guests: Eat outside sometimes — lots of cheap, friendly local restaurants nearby. Book taxis in advance with your operator, not on the street or through the hotel. If you love non-veg food, think twice before booking all-inclusive here, as options are limited.
