Positive: Was good value for money and simple to walk into town.
Negative: The sound between the upstairs and the unit had no buffering. At times it did feel like the door was open. The second night particularly the tv upstairs was in until about 2am which disturbed our sleep.

Positive: Although highly priced, it was very competitive compared to others. Plenty of floor space including a lounge room. Shower worked well. Only 30 minutes walk to Capitol. Is a basement apartment but bedroom gets daylight. The host was agreeable.
Negative: Despite many reviewers giving the same advice, the host lets himself down by penny pinching. I’ve never been to a hotel before where there was only one roll of toilet paper. The linen on the bed and the towels were like the very oldest I have at home. Although things had been cleaned, there were many places that had not been dusted for a long time. Some small improvements would ensure better reviews from everyone in future.
Summary: Not perfect but worth it.

Positive: This property is close to the metro, convention center, the arena, restaurants and a market. Love the area, location is great and close enough to walk to the National Mall. Property was clean and had all we needed, for the value it was great, very affordable. The host, Thang, is wonderful! We enjoyed chatting to him and he was very helpful. We dropped our bags off early and when we checked in he had them in the room. Would definitely book again.

Positive: Thang is a very nice host, welcoming us very warmly. The appartment is located in the basement and is equipped with everything you need as long as you do not plan to cook at home. You can warm up everything in a microwave or have a cup of tea. The bed is very comfortable. Rental bikes are close by to explore the city.
Negative: The living room has no window.
