Positive: We had an excellent stay at the Stone Villa. Yes it is a bit of a climb but the view is just perfect. The young enthousiastic guys who received the guest were very helpfull and friendly as was the older couple who served the breakfast, this certainly adds to the experience :)

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Stone Villa Berat! The property is beautiful and full of authentic Albanian charm, and the setting made our time in Berat feel even more special. Our room was comfortable and inviting, and the entire villa had such a warm, peaceful atmosphere. The hospitality was wonderful, and we felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. It was the perfect combination of character, comfort, and location. If you’re visiting Berat and want somewhere that feels special and authentic rather than like a typical hotel, Stone Villa is a fantastic choice. We would happily stay here again!

Positive: Stone Villa is a small boutique run by a sweet couple and some young staff in Gorica. Our room was lovely, modern but showing the original stonework and a great view! We particularly enjoyed how cosy the villa felt and our breakfast in the open courtyard below was delicious. The night before we enjoyed a drink at the bar. The staff are responsive and the couple are helpful, they let us into the room early and provided cold water. Its a short walk through the local neighbourhood to the bridge connecting it to Berat village central. I preferred staying here so we were facing Berat and there are plenty of cute bars and restaurants around.
Negative: Its a bit of a hike up the hill to the hotel, but parking is close by and the views are rewarding.

Positive: Stone Villa Berat was definitely worth a visit. A beautiful place to stay with one of the best views of Mangalem. Parking is free in the car park next to the main road. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk uphill through the narrow, old alleys until you reach the accommodation. You really feel as though you’re in the Middle Ages, except that, of course, everything is much more beautiful! The rooms were neat and tidy and designed in a very original style. The two young men Bjorki and Dijart did an excellent job as hosts; they speak perfectly English and made sure we felt at home from the very first moment, prepared a free drink in the bar for every guest every evening and provided us with free water whenever we needed it. The lady from the kitchen prepared a delicious breakfast every morning on the terrace with a beautiful view and they asked us every evening what time we would like our breakfast. Even for our very early departure to the airport in the end, they made sure we had a good breakfast before we left at 6.30 am. Will always come back! Highly recommend this place!
