The Birchview Suite Duplex lower Level is a unique cottage that features an open concept between the fully stocked kitchen and living room. It boasts 9 ft. barn wood ceilings throughout, as well as exposed aggregate stone floors with in floor heating. The living room walls are made with real birch logs from our land! This cozy bungalow has a beautiful field stone fireplace to keep you toasty on those cold winter nights. The view is awesome with lots of windows lakeside to enjoy the beautiful Birch trees and of course all the wild life on Tuscobia Lake. Two french doors lead out to the spacious flagstone patio entrance area from the great room and the master bedroom. A great space to just sit and relax. There is also a fire pit fully stocked with wood, dining table, and grill for you to use. The Birchview Suite lower level is totally closed off from guests who are staying in the upper level. The entire upper and lower levels can be booked as one unit by calling Stonehaven Resort. We have a private dock 1/4 mile from the cottage and offer complementary use of kayaks, row boats, and canoes! We also have a pontoon for rent. Plenty of hiking and biking opportunities can be found on and off the resort. State Trails are also nearby.

Summary: Fantastic setting, clean and perfect for our visit. Even though we would have loved to be there longer in mornings , we had MC rides for 3 days with friends on Rice lake 1.2 miles away. Great local for our visit. We will definitely recommend to others in future visits.

Summary: We had an amazing time on our girls weekend with my 2 daughters. The property is beautiful! We enjoyed lots of walks, listening to the birds, and morning coffee on the patio of the lower birchview suite! We will definitely be staying again.

Summary: This place had a very warm country feel. The location was awesome with lots of privacy and a lake view. We enjoyed our stay very much - even in the wintertime. It was also very convenient for the event we had in Rice lake.

Summary: I am a repeat guest to this property, but this time my Dear Husband (DH) was along for the festivities. For me, it was again the perfect place to host a small Thanksgiving dinner for family. DH held the opinion this was the nicest VRBO he has had the pleasure to stay in. Ted and Lori made sure everything was just perfect, and we left this stay already preplanning our return next summer. Thank you!

Summary: This place was beautiful. The view was spectacular. The cabin was so cute and perfect for the amount of family that was with me. It was so peaceful and I could definitely have stayed longer and just enjoyed the beauty. The little desk they have stocked with paper and pens and you could do journaling was perfect. They definitely put a lot of work into making it beautiful and peaceful and very clean. Definitely would go back.

Summary: I booked the birch view lower level suite for my little sisters bachelorette party. It was the perfect place for our small group! We took advantage of the pontoon and spent the day swimming and relaxing. The cottage itself was very homey, beautifully decorated, & extremely clean. Definitely would recommend!
