Positive: We rented the family suite which had a king size bed. Bunk bed with a full and twin, and a sofa pullout. The room was very roomy, and fit our family of 6 perfect. We were located right by the entrance which was nice for our small kids. The shower was hot and had a nice flow, and the complimentary soap was very nice to have in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay, and even stayed another night in the same room because we enjoyed the hotel that much! The hot tub was NOT working, which was a little sad, I was looking forward to that the most. The pool was warm and you could even swim outside if you'd like. My kids enjoyed the pool very much. The breakfast was good, however on Sunday there was limited fruit options and there was no cereal offerings, but they had breads, bagels, and biscuits and gravy, and a pancake maker. Not a big assortment but it did the job. On Monday breakfast was a lot better serving eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, bagels, and pancakes. I give it an 8 out of 10 only because the beds were a little less on the cheaper side and the hot tub was not working, but everything else was nice. The room was warm, we had plenty of space, and the overall experience was good. The hotel is HUGE!
Negative: The hot tube was out of service, and the king size bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked.
Summary: Nice family getaway.

Negative: Complaining workers they only make $15 an hour they could make more money working at McDonald’s The Continental breakfast was poor. We were there on an athletic tournament. There was absolutely no protein no eggs, no meat. They served biscuits and gravy, pancake machine only apples no other fruit options and one kind of yogurt very poor.

Positive: This is a very nice hotel, clean, lots of amenities!! Decor is awesome!! Price is very very reasonable for what all the hotel provides.
Negative: Again the breakfast was my only complaint☹️ There was biscuit and gravy, pancake making machine and bagels! I say biscuit because when we got down to breakfast at 8:30 there were two biscuits I got one and my husband got one, nothing else!! No breakfast meats, potatoes were empty, no milk and cereals! There was a line of at least 10 waiting on biscuits and all the guy did that was working the breakfast area was to keep opening lids on empty warmers!!! Nothing was refilled while we were waiting for more breakfast, when I checked out the breakfast guy was back behind check in counter saying" I can't wait for breakfast to get over" Disappointed in breakfast or lack of it especially on a Sunday morning

Negative: Room for improvement: When rooms are cleaned and set up for guests, teach the staff to turn the thermostat down so the room is cool. If the guest gets to the room and want it warmer they can adjust the thermostat themselves. When we got to our room yesterday, it was so hot that we never got it to cool down. We turned the heat down as low as we could get it but stayed quite warm. We finally turned the air conditioner on about 3am because we couldn't sleep and by 330ish we were finally able to fall asleep and stay asleep. Not a bad experience, but one that could be used as a learning experience for staff.

Positive: It’s so homey. The rooms, the hallways, just the whole vibe in the lobby.
Negative: I’m so use to always have a 2 queen bed room but these beds seem like maybe they were suppose to be full size for kids but to an adult it felt like a twin bed. The jacuzzi was closed down.
Summary: This is my Go-to hotel.

Positive: We always enjoy our stay at Stoney Creek, especially when we get our favorite junior suite (we stay twice per year). We love the cabin vibe throughout the hotel, the amount of space, the fireplace, and the pretty shower in our room. The staff was very accommodating and nice. Even though we could hear a dog in the room next to us in the hallway, we couldn't hear the dog once in our room.
Negative: Surprisingly, breakfast wasn't as good as we previously experienced. In the past, there is usually a type of meat or sausage and biscuits available. Breakfast seemed plain without it. Our carton of milk was also spoiled. And the hot tub in the pool area still hasn't been fixed - for over a year! So, we may end up going to Embassy Suites next time.
Summary: Will there be a next visit? We'll see... only if the hot tub is working.
