Beautiful chalet style home on 75 feet of excellent shore line. Gorgeous views from the lake side deck where you can enjoy the sunsets. deck wraps around the home for plenty of out door living space. Home is fully furnished and has everything you need to enjoy your stay, including BBQ Grill and out door dining area. The master bedroom is on the main level and has a King size bed and walk through 3/4 bath. The second bedroom is located in the loft and has a full size bed, twin bunk beds and a private seating area. Enjoy a cozy evening in the vaulted living room by the gas fireplace and incredible lake views through the wall of windows. Enjoy a movie on the flat screen tv and blue ray player. The kitchen is stocked for all your cooking needs, including a microwave and dishwasher. The lower level family room has 2 twin sized pull out beds for more sleeping space and has a walk out to a covered patio area. Lower level also has a full bath and washer and dryer. Beautiful boulder retaining walls and granite steps guide you to the lake. Comfortable lawn chairs are provided on the lake shore for your enjoyment. Great swimming!

Summary: The views from the many gathering places are great. We loved watching sunset from the deck, eating outdoors and making sand castles in the perfect toddler beach. The kitchen is well stocked with tools for those who love to cook on vacation. My only recommendation is to get internet for checking weather radar, Googling recipes, etc. We will be back.

Summary: We had such a wonderful week long visit to Stony Point. We are from Annandale, and decided to stay on our favorite lake for a staycation with the ability to take the kids to their activities and teens to work! The cabin had absolutely everything we needed to take care of our family of 8. The garage was stock piled with chairs toys etc. the dock had ample space for our wake/ski boat parking and the sleeping quarters for all were comfortable and clean. The lake is beautiful. The west facing cabin was ideal for those warm summer nights swimming. Carla was clear about checkin, kept in contact and everything was written in a handbook which is great to have on hand as a reminder of certain items. Thank You for giving my family memories that will last a lifetime!

Summary: We love Lake Sylvia; it would be a dream come true to own a lake home there. Stony Point’s landscaping makes it so inviting. I like its locale on the lake. Carla is wonderful. The big windows overlooking the lake are wonderful for both light and the view.

Summary: We very much enjoyed the house during our family’s 1-week vacation to Lake Sylvia. The positives: The house is modern, clean, tastefully decorated, and nicely laid out. The king bed and bedding in the master bedroom was very comfortable and made for very sound sleep. The lake views are beautiful and the deck is very large with ample and comfortable deck furniture. We enjoyed using the property’s kayak, water/swim mat, lakeside chaise lounge chairs, and fire pit. Carla, the owner, was very responsive to any text & email messages. The negatives: You have to be careful with your daily hot water usage as the hot water tank only fills up once at night. There is a washer and dryer in the house, but when we arrived, the owner instructions stated they were not to be used for personal use which was a surprise as they are included in the VRBO listing. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the house and would recommend it to others!
