Summary: The location can’t be beat. My husband wants me to book it again for next year. Beautiful, cozy yet large. Host is very responsive and nice.

Summary: We have stayed at this loft many times. The loft itself is so open and welcoming. We love the town and the people in it. This particular stay was unusual as the heat wasn't working BUT Holly made accommodations to fix this problem swiftly - we were able to stay in the other loft that she rents out. This was actually great because we had never been there and were always curious about it. I know Holly has a team already working on the heat issue, so this should not deter a person from trying this place out - it really is a wonderful place to stay.

Summary: Apartment/loft was adorable. Could use instructions on tv but that took nothing away from the atmosphere. Plus, it is right across the street from a quant irish pub with great food. All in all highly recommended.

Summary: The loft was very cute! However, getting to it was a challenge. A couple of days before our stay we were informed that Main St. was under construction and was told that I could cancel if I wanted to. At that point, it was much too late to book anything else. We had to park about a block away and when we arrived at the loft, fresh cement had just been poured right in front of the door (no other entrance)! Fortunately, the construction workers were still around and set up a ramp with planks to walk across. Other VRBOs and AirB&Bs I have stayed at have always had a binder with suggestions of things to do/see in the area, recommendations for dining, instructions on operating the tv, etc.-- nothing here. :( The actual loft was super cute but couldn't get the fireplace or tv to work. When it was time to check out, I had to walk several blocks down to be able to cross the street to my car because they were spreading asphalt on the road.

Summary: Positives: beautiful apartment, comfortable beds, large kitchen, 2 bathrooms - 1 in each room, location in town, and communication with owner were all excellent. Negatives: stairs to apartment (no surprise- we knew ahead of time), no blow dryer, the road (Main St) was under construction so we had difficulty getting to and from the apartment and finding a place to park. A heads up with parking advice would have been helpful.

Summary: Holly was a great communicator for our stay at the downtown loft; very friendly, helpful, and prompt. She was very aware of the local happenings (construction zone!) & let us know of our restrictions and alternatives as soon as she could, and tried to accommodate us to make things easier. The loft was exactly as she described and very clean! It was spacious and warm and inviting. It had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. A few things to consider before booking: the couch, only one stand up shower, and, WHEW, the stairs! If you have more than 4 guests, consider bringing air mattresses because the couch is curved, not very large, and a bit tight for even one adult. There is ample floor space for multiple air mattress if needed, without feeling crowded or tight at all. There is only one stand up shower for all to share (otherwise, baths), but we worked around that easily as we were not pressed for time. The stairs are extensive for anyone that may have joint or health issues, but there is a small landing between flights to catch your breath. Just keep in mind, you are going up to the third level of an older commercial building, so prepare yourself for many stairs to climb and a bit of uneven surfaces at times. I'd definitely re-book and would love to see the town active minus the construction zone. It's quaint, quiet, relaxing, and picturesque right on the water. Great spot for an extended stay!
