Positive: Strofka is one of those rare places where you genuinely feel connected to nature and to the true essence of life. This is how I will always remember “Strofka”the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle, slow down, breathe, and experience true peace. And OMG… the drive to get there! 😍 The journey itself was an experience. The views along the way were absolutely breathtaking, with incredible landscapes that made the long drive completely worth it. As they say, the best places are often the ones that are a little harder to reach. Aldi, our host, was absolutely wonderful. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful and even brought us some essentials from town when we needed them. His parents prepared our breakfast and dinner, and honestly, the food was such a lovely part of the experience. We had some of the most unique and memorable food of our entire trip around Albania. Everything felt authentic, homemade, and full of local culture. One of the highlights was when Aldi’s father made us a bonfire and played music for us before dinner. Sitting around the fire, surrounded by nature, listening to music, and being completely away from the noise of everyday life was such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Because Strofka is so remote, I would definitely recommend stocking up on some snacks and other things you might need if you’re planning to stay for a few days without going back into town. That said, Aldi was incredibly helpful and brought us a few essentials from town, which we really appreciated. If you’re looking for somewhere to experience genuine Albanian culture, incredible hospitality, breathtaking nature, and a truly peaceful atmosphere, I would definitely recommend Strofka. We felt so well taken care of, and the whole experience was something we’ll remember for a long time. If you’re thinking of choosing Strofka for your stay, I honestly don’t think you’ll regret your choice.
Negative: I liked everything about this place .The only downside is that the place is very remote, and the road to get there can be quite challenging. A little pre warning about the journey would have been helpful. But honestly, despite the drive, we were So glad we chose this place.

Negative: Very difficult to get there - no indications and really quite hidden. There needs to be signalling. Also, please be aware that there is nothing to eat if you don't pre-order.
