Positive: Location is beautiful, however we did not realize that we had to go over a mountain with very winding roads to get there. We were using it as a base for Thebes and some other sites and it was a bit hard to get to.
Negative: If they had a separate key for the front door from the card used to turn everything on and the garage key, it would be better. One person in our party got locked out when he was on the balcony and the wind blew the door shut. Luckily he had his phone and we were able to contact the owner’s sister who came over.
Summary: Lovely place and is a great getaway from the hustle-bustle of crowded resorts. A lovely quiet little

Positive: Ease of access, despite the fact that most (if not all) navigation software didn’t have the property address. Nevertheless, the owner sent us the exact location on Google maps.
Negative: Cleanliness was a bit less than expected inside the house. One more thing that I could add as a friendly note is this: since the tap water is not potable in the area, a bottle of still mineral water inside the fridge wouldn’t hurt, neither is the cost high, about 50c for a 1,5lt bottle. Additionally, a couple extra toilet paper rolls would also be handy, since we were 4 adults for 2 days!
Summary: Definitely worth the money! Excellent view and location!

Positive: The scenery was stunning - the property has a beautiful & unobstructed view of the bay & out into the wider Gulf. The people were all friendly & surprised to see us as they do not get many tourists (which suited us perfectly). The property was brilliant: it was secure, quiet, peaceful & well furnished. We were able to stay & cook in the kitchen & BBQ, as well as eat at the restaurants down in the town. The closest (and our favourite) beach was a short (5 to 10 minute) walk from the property. It was quiet, with the busiest it ever got was 4 other small groups of people & the water was arguably some of the best we have ever swum in - warm, calm, clear & hardly salty. The nearby cafe/store was closed the entire time we were there. Still wouldn't put me off from going there, just need to make sure that you account for this when going. The host was incredibly friendly, communicative & accommodating.
Negative: Our biggest regret was not renting a car (particularly given the very affordable options) for a handful of different reasons. Firstly, to get a taxi to Athens airport (1 way) it was €150 euros. The cheapest (and least convincing) offer we saw was €120. Given the remoteness of the location, options were fairly limited. This leads on to the next problem. The town only had one small grocery store (although there was one cafe that also acted as a small store) & this stores opening hours were difficult to predict which did catch us out (when it was closed on a Tuesday). Had we had our own car, we could have either done a big shop when it was open & stocked up or brought a large amount with us en route from Athens. Finally, the area has a fair number of wild dogs which did get unnerving at certain stages. The property itself is very secure with high walls & we were still able to walk to & from the town & beaches, but having a car would have been a preferred option. All in all, this all can be avoided if you rent a car. The only other issue was that the sofa bed was not the most comfortable. This property would be ideal for max two couples as each of the bedrooms themselves were great.
Summary: Would absolutely recommend this property (just rent a car) & will certainly return if I am ever near

Positive: The location is perfect and easy to find. We met the hosts right upon our arrival and they were really friendly and welcoming. The house was as expected with great furniture and above all, THE BEST VIEW. Everything was clean and tidied up. Our stay was perfect and we would really want to visit again!!!
