Family friendly updated 3 bedroom cottage is located on a beautiful, crystal clear lake, that enjoys plenty of natural shoreline. There are 3 spacious decks on the grounds, which include a large 40 foot cottage deck, a suspended deck above the water and a waterfront wharf, attached to a 8' X 16' floating dock. This cottage enjoys a beautiful view out over the lake, and a fantastic shallow sand bottom swim area. The shoreline is natural rock and the property is typical rugged Muskoka, Canadian shield with a natural pathway leading to the waterfront area.
Inside, the cottage is beautifully appointed with hardwood flooring, soaring 20+ foot vaulted cedar ceilings along with oversized tall windows reaching up to the cathedral ceiling allowing plenty of natural light into the cottage and providing an unobstructed view out to the lake. The two large bedrooms are located on the main floor with closet space and dressers while the loft area is a great spot for the kids, with plenty of room to play, watch TV and sleep. The kitchen is open to the dining area with plenty of counter space, while the living area has 3 plush leather couches to watch TV or catch a movie.
There are two full bathrooms, one located on the main floor and the other in the loft, both with floor to ceiling natural stone appointments and creature comforts of home.

Summary: Cottage is on a beautiful lake and great location. Easy drive to Bracebridge and Rosseau for not so perfect weather days. Enjoyed the canoe and kids kayak daily. Used the SUP, though it could definitely use an upgrade. Caught a lot of fish, enjoyed the jumping rock, fire pit, and hike to the fish hatchery falls. House was not the cleanest and it was frustrating not having kitchen towels for drying/ cleanups. The water cooler leaked a lot of water onto the floor on our arrival and nothing to wipe it up with other than the bath towels we packed (which given the dirty floor, wasn’t the greatest). Otherwise, after a vacuum over and dusting, we had a wonderful family vacation. Made many beautiful memories at this cottage!

Summary: Clean beach, lots of experiences nearby to entertain. One fish caught and thrown back, 2 nights around a campfire cooking marshmallows...on the 3 rainy days the cottage became a little crowded with 2 grumpy kids! Thank you for sharing.

Summary: Most of the week there were no neighbours, an occasional motor boat or seadoo...felt safe out on the water. Views are spectacular from the cottage, the upper deck and a lower small deck and the dock. We'll looked after and spotless...thank you very much. We would like to return next year at the same time!

Summary: We rented at the end of August and the cottage was exactly as advertised. It was well equipped and clean. The views are amazing. The lake is clear and quiet. We loved taking the paddle boat out. Saw the loons. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were good. We had no issues at all.

Summary: Wanted to thank Carolyne for a having us this week. What a great time!! The cottage is a well appointed space with great views of the lake. We highly recommend using the canoe, Stand up paddle board and kayak for relaxing, and exploring the wonderful CLEAN lake! Evening dips looking at the stars were an added bonus. Pictures do not do this location justice. If you are looking for a quiet lake experience with very few motorized boats and mostly canoes and kayaks, then this is the place for you! The location, the amenities and overall experience were fantastic! Looking forward to next year!

Summary: This year we decided to try a small lake after years on large lakes. What a wonderful decision. The water was warm, the water was calm, and there was almost no motorized watercraft before noon. The Sagers’ dock is large with comfortable Muskoka chairs and a swimming ladder from heaven. The cottage is easy to navigate, the grill was a daily experience, and the furnishing inside were allergy free which was important for us. Thank you Carolyn for allowing us to be guests at your little piece of heaven.
