When you aren't inside enjoying this luxurious paradise, you can venture out to the Grand Lodges' heated outdoor swimming pool, large hot tub, and sauna! With views of Mt. Hood, Collins Lake, and the slopes of Mt. Hood Skibowl, this Grand Lodge South home is a perfect place to come back to year after year.
Government Camps, great shops, restaurants, and brewpubs are all just an easy stroll from this rental. You are also just minutes from the nearby Adventure Park and Mt Hood Ski Bowl. The adventure park offers a variety of summer activities including an Alpine slide, zip lines, horseback riding, mountain biking, and mini-golf. In the winter, Ski Bowl provides 65 runs that will challenge skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Timberline Lodge (six miles), and Mt. Hood Meadows (13 miles) are also within easy driving distance. There is a shuttle from the condo driveway on weekends and holidays. Come summertime, you'll have plenty to do, including wonderful hiking and mountain biking at local trails and lakes within a 20-minute drive.

Summary: Condo is huge and well stocked with towels and kitchenware. Oftentimes rentals have at least a few games to play or a deck of cards, but this unit has nothing other than a few puzzles, one of which has pieces missing. There is enough clearance in the parking deck for our Honda Odyssey van with a roof box on top and lots of room on the balcony to store our bikes.

Summary: I stayed here for a week while snowboarding at Timberline & Mt. Hood Meadows. The Good: - The condo is easy to get to in Government Camp, and there is plenty of space for at least a 3-4 person family if not more. - The TV has all of the streaming services you'd want, and the couch is comfy. - The kitchen is fairly well appointed, and the bunk beds are a hit with kids. - It's a niche bonus, but the wax room is a huge plus for those that like to wax their own gear. The Bad: - There were several broken items throughout the place (multiple blinds, the jacuzzi tub, toilet paper holder in bathroom, cupboard door, closet door, game table); the toilet paper holder and closet door meant my young child could not use that bathroom or the bedroom with the broken closet door. - There were tons of tiny flying bugs in the master bedroom that meant that spending any time in there with the lights on meant that they'd be landing on you while you're in bed or in the non-working jacuzzi tub (I ended up killing 50+ in the first two nights). - Even though i brought these issues to their attention in the first 24 hours, the property management folks didn't attempt to address any of these issues until after my stay was over. Good to know: - The parking garage has low clearance, so if you're carrying bikes on top of your car you'll have to park outside. - The public pool & hot tub are about a 5 minute walk from the room; fine in the summer but freezing in the winter.

Summary: This is a beautiful condo and it's very big! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The furniture is very comfortable and the beds are to die for! Very short drive to Timberline. Downtown Government Camp is cute and within walking distance. We can't wait to go back!

Summary: The space was large, but the cleaning prior to arrival was suspect/dirty. Had to do cleaning to feel comfortable. The kitchen utensils, plates, etc. were a bit sparse and had clean often to have enough. The lighting in the bathrooms was very poor. Even though a pool was available, no information as to how to access the locked gate.
