Shenandoah Crossing is the ideal family get away for the holidays in the comfort of the ornate resort's rustic elegance as embodied by their cabins. Approximately 657 square feet, this spacious Two- Bedroom Resort Cabin features 1 King Bed, 2 Twin Beds (or 1 Queen Bed), 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa including a full kitchen, 1 bathroom and laundry. Maximum of 6 occupants.
Additional amenities include: internet access (wi-fi), cable television, CD stereo, balcony/porch, hair dryer, coffee maker, ice maker, microwave, dish washer, refrigerator, iron/ironing board, and stove.
The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.
Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. Campsite check-in is at Campsite check-in is at 2 p.m. and check-out is at 12 p.m. The nearest airport to Shenandoah Crossing are Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) and Richmond International (RIC) which are 35 and 80 miles by car respectively.

Amenities: Fire ring, patio with grill and outdoor furnishings. Elite and Presidential sites have summer kitchens and each Presidential site has a private hot tub. Plus, shower/bath houses/laundry available on site.
ATTENTION!
Please be informed that we have scheduled pressure washing for the outer area of the cabins from the 4th of November to the 31st of December between 9 am to 5 pm. Each cabin holder will be provided local schedules to work around as to cause the least amount of disruption to their stay. Work will be weather dependent. Note: Owners may hear noise from the truck mounted pressure washer in their subdivision area.

Summary: We were really surprised at how nice the cabin was…not a log cabin but updated to have current decor. The cabin was spacious and it was nice to have so many towels available! Lots to do for the kiddos too! If you like outdoor activities, you’ll really enjoy what the resort has to offer. The only disappointment was when we checked in about 5pm, the specific cabin we rented which was a lake front cabin was not available. I was asked if we wanted to wait and while I wanted to know how long the wait would be, I wasn’t able to get an answer. We’d be in the car for a while so I went ahead and took a cabin that was available. It would have been extra special to have the lake front cabin, but regardless of that we had an excellent time.

Summary: The property has so many activities: horseback riding, free mini golf, kayaking, swimming, arcade, tennis, movies, activities, and a huge pool area. Not a lot of food options: one general store with some basics and a cafe with a pretty sizable menu but limited hours..

Summary: This is a bit of a drive to everything...which would have been fine, if the Corona virus precautions were not in place. All of the indoor activities on site were shut down. I understand why, it was just a hassle. They also have odd hours for things like the market that is on property. Also we went to rent a kayak and found that the rental location was closed because it was staffed by high schoolers-and school started. It would have been nice to know beforehand that it would have been closed that day. Also, there is no swimming in the lake. I would have liked to have known that prior to booking g as this was the main draw for us. But the cabin was very nice, clean, and equipped well enough for our needs.
