Summary: Pros: Pretty area, kids activities, large home, hot tub, well stocked kitchen.Cons: No winter maintenance provided meaning driveway isn't accessible and no snow removal down the steep steps and slippery slope to the home. Snow was 3-4 feet deep and parking was on a very narrow, but plowed, dead end fire route at the top of the hill about 60' up. It would be difficult for emergency vehicles to access in winter and it's difficult to turn your vehicle around. Also no warm bedding available for a winter stay and we weren't warned of this until after we were on our way. We slept in our warm clothes. Host did not message us with this info or instructions until after 4.30pm when we were already driving there. Several house repairs needed including a dishwasher that had no power, no propane for the BBQ and Christmas decorations needed to be taken down. We don't need fancy but expect it to be as advertised.In summary the grand kids had fun and the adults made the most of the situation. We shoveled a lot of snow to make it safer but I feel we shouldn't have had to do that when you pay to stay somewhere so that was disappointing and stressful to deal with arriving after dark with little kids and all our gear.

Summary: Beautiful location, lots of water activities. If there was one problem, we had no WiFi the entire 5 days, with 3 small children this was a major problem. It would have been nice to have TV, to occupy the children while we were preparing meals and also down time for them.

Summary: our stay was peaceful and relaxing, our son had plenty to do as he was fishing and kayaking. When it rained a little there was plenty to do indoors. When needed, the hosts were quick to respond and help. We will definitely look to book again

Summary: We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend stay here. There was so much to do and the scenery is just beautiful! Lots of toys and activities for the little ones that were with us. Definitely would book this property again in the future. Would love to try the summer months.

Summary: We spent this past weekend at GoodLuckSunset and We had the best time! The cottage is exactly as described and had so much to keep the kids(and adults) entertained, while also providing all the cozy comforts needed for fall weather. We had one question during our stay and the host was so quick to get back to us, and all interactions prior and during our stay were lovely. Showers had warm water, temperature of cottage was perfect as well. There were also smaller heaters if we needed them(even though we didn’t even up using them, it was good to know they were available to us. Cannot wait to book this cottage again next year 🙂

Summary: Everything was amazing. My family and I had a wonderful week from start to finish. The property was clean and organized. such a charming place. The lake is quiet and so peaceful I could have sat on the dock 24/7. The play area for the kids was awesome and kept them occupied. The sandy area was a nice touch and the entrance to the water was clean and shallow which was perfect for the kids. We spent hours every night playing Pool and all the games that were there for us. Super accessible as well and easy to find. My family and I had such a great time we will be booking and returning again next year!

Summary: For the most part, the place was ok. Luckily for us it wasn’t very hot as there is a portable ac unit in the dining room and no where else (bedrooms, downstairs very hot). So it was uncomfortable to stay inside during the day with the little ones for their naps. The only other issue was what appeared to be a hardwired carbon monoxide detector in the hallway that had a broken cover. My son said he got a bit of a shock from it when trying to put the cover on. So had to ensure the toddlers do not go near it as it was hardwired in a plug near the floor. Should definitely let people know in the description that there really isn’t any AC, as the one provided was useless and only cooling the dining/kitchen area. Other than that, was again just “ok”
