Summary: A beautiful place in a quite village with marvelous view of the Kalkan bay area. There is all you need and the village provides you with local products If you want to care for yourself or with restaurants to enjoy fresh fish or other traditionell dishes. Only caveat, you need to leave eventually 😁

Summary: This was a really nice holiday villa. There was a breakdown in communications at some stage as we stressed that we were bringing our dog when we made the booking. This wasn’t passed onto the management company. As a result we did not have cleaners come to do the mid-stay clean - cleaners were scared of dogs. Some of the fittings were tired (taps, shower, front door) but other than that this was a beautiful and peaceful location. From a safety perspective, some electrical fittings were not secured (internal and external) in addition, there is no gas monitor. The villa is perfect for a family of 4, our youngest is 5. If your children are younger it will require close monitoring as there are a few child traps!

Summary: A delightful villa with exceptional views. Everything was catered for and it was clear from the beginning the owners considered almost everything a person staying in a villa would need. The villa was clean, very well maintained and most importantly provided privacy. It would be unjust to give this villa anything less than 5*. We would personally suggest having your own vehicle, so that you are able to venture out and discover all the wonders the region has to offer in terms of restaurants, beaches, markets and much more .

Summary: We arrived at this attractive villa and were immediately drawn to the seaview from the beautiful terrace with the kidney shaped pool. The villa is nice and private but not isolated. It is very well equipped, clean, comfortable place to stay, and the beds! So comfortable. It is a very relaxing there, in the company of wagtails, lizards, dragonflies and cicadas. We were very sad to leave even though we were moving on for week near Dalyan. Heleen's communication was excellent throughout the booking process and do follow her directions rather than Google. We found a car extremely useful but did notice a bus stop nearby and lots of taxis around the area so that may work for you. It is well worth a day trip to Kas, or even Dalyan if you don't mind a 2 hour drive each way and we stop at Gocek on our way to and from Dalaman airport. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful villa!

Summary: We stayed there for just four days, but we would have liked to stay much longer. The house itself is beautiful and well equipped. The view to the ocean is just amazing. The wifi and the hot water didn't work when we arrived - we were probably the first guests for quite a time. But the property managment fixed it in no time.

Summary: We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Papatya for 10 nights in September. It was stunningly beautiful and had the most incredible views across to Kalkan Harbour. It is traditional style which we absolutely love and had everything to make you feel totally at home, including a inourmous main bedroom! We had the best nights sleep that we had had in years! The location just outside the village of Islamlar is perfect as it is so peaceful and yet only 10 mins walk (would need a torch as dark roads) to a few very good local restaurants (or 2 minutes drive) and also only 20 mins drive down the mountain to the bigger but beautiful harbour town of Kalkan, which hosts lots of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and ATMs. It is close to many historic sites and the bigger holiday towns such as Olu Deniz are only a 50 minute drive away. Loads to do but great to return to the villa for a cooling dip at the end of your busy day. The temperature in the hills is about 5 degrees cooler than on the coast which is a great releif. We had a small issue with the hot water, but i made one phone call and it was fixed within the hour. You can't ask for better service than that - the maintenance company were great. Heleen (the owner) was also great to deal with and kept us informed at every step of the booking process. Overall the most relaxing holiday we have had for ages and one that we will definitiely repeating. Thank you Heleen your villa is perfect.
