Summary: Our stay at the Vaseux Lake Townhomes was great, the lake access is amazing with a nice sandy beach. The host(s) were super responsive and when we asked for something it was there within a day. The townhouse is good but could use some updating, I would stay again but there are a few things that could be better. The air conditioning is only located at the top of the stairs and it somewhat cools the home but doesn't exactly reach the kitchen. Cooking inside can get really hot and the BBQs are outside in the sun so cooking outside is even hotter. The bedroom has windows and a door and only the patio doors are covered so the light comes in early, bring a sleep mask. Also, the a/c isn't strong enough to fully cool the bedroom so it gets pretty warm but eventually cools off overnight. Fans were provided to help move the air. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes but the fridge was missing a shelf on the door and the crisper drawer was broken. For a small fridge this took away some valuable space. The linens provided were great, nice sheets but the bed was a very firm spring mattress, when we asked the host provided a foam topper which helped. The lake is really nice and shallow for a long way out. We only saw our neighbours and very few residents so it's quiet except for the nearby highway. The best part was we could bring our dog, he had a great time in the lake.

Summary: This place is magical. I would recommend this stay to anyone. All of us were really pleased with the accommodations. I went paddle boarding every day and the water was so calm and soothing. My entire family loved everything about the property and we all slept like babies. It was absolutely PERFECT.
