Our elegant and warm post-and-beam home on 15 private acres has sweeping mountain views of Bromley and and the Green Mountains, and is the perfect retreat for your Vermont stay.
With an open kitchen/living area, cozy wood burning fireplace, and large yard with a fire pit, it's perfect for relaxing and visiting with family and friends. The home has a large dining room, Jacuzzi bath tub, WiFi, entertainment room, outdoor grill and plenty of sleeping space for large groups. This home is peaceful and beautiful, inside and out.
Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing can be enjoyed right on the property, and Bromley, Stratton and Okemo are just minutes away. Nordic skiing is also available nearby at the Wild Wings and Viking Centers. In the summertime, activities close by include the theater at the Weston Playhouse, and swimming at Lowell Lake and Hapgood Pond. Hikers enjoy the Long Trail, the Green Mountains, and Glebe Mountain can be accessed from the back door. All year round, Manchester Center offers the Outlets, galleries, and excellent restaurant and shops.

Summary: We were so excited to come and stay at this property for a spring skiing family trip and we were not disappointed. Fantastically appointed for all of your needs, clean, plenty of space for family. So close to so many skiing experiences, amenities close by. Privacy and gorgeous views. Summary: The house is exactly as described and then some. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We had multiple families staying and never felt on top of each other. The kitchen is massive with everything you would need to cook each meal. Will absolutely stay here again… and can’t wait to!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at this property. David's home is a beautiful, exposed timber post and beam home perched high up on a hillside with long distance views looking west to Bromley Mountain. We absolutely had no issues during our 12 day stay. The steep driveway was well plowed before we arrived, despite a 3 foot snow storm just a few days prior. The home was clean, warm, and cozy and provided us with the perfect spot to spend the holidays and do some skiing at the many nearby mountains- Bromley, Okemo, Stratton, and Magic are all close by. Hope to return in the future.

Summary: This is our third time we have used VRBO. By far this property rental was one of the best. The house and the view was just stunning. The kitchen indeed was fully stocked for cooking a Thanksgiving feast. As a baker, I was also so excited to see a KitchenAid mixer...I was able to also bake homemade chocolate chip cookies too. David the owner was very responsive to all of our inquiries. We would love the opportunity to come back and explore VT again!

Summary: Our group thoroughly enjoyed this house for a weekend away from the kids. Convenient access to 3 ski mountains and downtown Manchester made this a win. The house was spotless, well appointed, and nicely decorated. We definitely plan on returning.
