One-bedroom apartment in Easter Kinkell not far from Dingwall and Inverness. Maple Cottage Apartment is perfectly situated for exploring The Black Isle and surrounding areas.
The open plan lounge/ kitchen & dining area has a staircase leading to the balcony which accesses the open plan living and dining area. Maple Cottage has ample seating, there is plenty of room for relaxing and taking in the beautiful views through the French windows. There is a TV and DVD player, with a small selection of DVDs and an audio unit with a radio and CD player. The kitchen is a fully fitted modern kitchen has electric appliances including a washer/ drier and dishwasher. The shower room is located off the living area, with WC and shower. The bedroom is furnished with an en-suite shower room, a double bed, dressing table and plenty of space for clothes storage in the walk-in wardrobe. Outside the holiday apartment, there is private parking, a small area for barbeques and garden furniture on the veranda – ideal for relaxing and enjoying the views of the surrounding countryside. Guests have access to the entire property. Quiet and tranquil location with great views over the Moray Firth, Ben Wyvis and surrounding area. Fantastic location for wildlife watching from the balcony, Red Kite's bird of prey and Deer are regularly sighted in this area.
A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands (especially when staying in The Black Isle). There is a bus route that runs through the Hamlet of Easter Kinkell travelling through to Inverness City Centre. The nearest Airport is within a 25-minute drive. No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM - 10 PM. Check out time is 10 am. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave, we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies includes toilet rolls, complimentary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.

Summary: The cottage is centrally located for touring the Area. It has a wonderful view from the balcony across fields and the Firth with mountains in the distance! The bird life including red kites is abundant and lovely to see. It was very peaceful.The cottage was very clean and extremely well equipped. You had everything there that you needed. The owner was very pleasant and gave us a warm welcome and checked that we were having a lovely holiday. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area and would recommend it for a couple.
