3 Bedroom House in Bayfield

Amazing views from all windows in our home! Cozy home with 3 bedrooms all having beautiful handmade mountain furniture, comfy mattresses and high thread count sheets. Two of the bedrooms have connecting bathrooms. The master suite has a claw foot tub and shower with incredible views. The downstairs bedroom has a bathroom with tub and shower ready for adults and kids.
Our living area is cozy with lots of views, TV, games and a great set up for just hanging out and enjoying each others company. The dining area has a very large handmade mountain table with seating for 12. Could be more with small kids.
The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of extras including a smoothie maker, crock pots, fondue pot, coffee grinder, belgium waffle maker, etc. The stove has five burners with the sixth being a large oval burner for cooking on grill or griddle (also provided). We have place settings for 12. Leftover containers, foil, plastic wrap and baggies are also provided. We have not skimped on the quality of the kitchen wear.
We are also well stocked for families traveling with kids, toddlers and babies. We have a pack and play, stroller, high chair, potty chair and step stool, rock and play, baby to toddler bathtub, baby gate, Baby Einstein play mat, toys, bath toys and books.
Teenagers are not left out. We have books for them, movies, an Xbox with games and a Sega Genesis stand alone with built in games. And last, but not least, for them, we have good Wi-Fi service. The downstairs room is a perfect get away for them or the guys with a 75inch TV and DVD player. There is two large leather sofas, and two leather chairs with ottomans for seating. One of the sofas, pulls out into one of our fabulous Comfort Sleepers (Queen Plus).
The laundry room is stocked with a very nice large capacity washer and dryer, detergent and dryer sheets. There is also a rod for hanging clothes with hangers provided.
There is a large mudroom with it's own access into the house. There is a long handmade mountain bench for getting those skis or muddy shoes off, boot dryers for ski boots and lots of shoe trays. Many hooks in this room and throughout the entire home. You will also find a beverage center in the mudroom for all your beverages, allowing more space in the refrigerator located in the kitchen.
The outside deck is a great place to be anytime of day. The hot tub seats six and is quite comfortable. We have an electric grill/smoker. We have seating for several with seating around a fire pit just steps off the deck. We also have an eating bar around one whole side of the deck. Again, all with amazing views.

Summary: The view from front porch was amazing. We enjoyed watching a herd of elk move about the fields below us during the day and then marveled at the stars at night. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have encountered with VRBO.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. So much space! The house is so spacious, we didn't have any issues with feeling cramped with 5 adults. The deck, hot tub, and surrounding grounds offered relaxation and space to play bags, soak under the stars and just sit and watch the cows in the fields across the road or gaze at the mountains. Great, well-equipped kitchen... the whole house has everything you'd ever need. Highly recommend this place!

Summary: This was an absolutely great place for our family to stay and it totally exceeded our expectations! The location of this property is wonderfully peaceful and the views of the mountains and valley below are spectacular. Pictures just don't do it justice. The house was clean, well stocked and provided a perfect home away from home. Highly recommend this property.

Summary: We had a family vacation and all of us had a great time. It was very well appointed with literary everything you would need. Especially for the kids. Fun things to keep everyone involved from our three old granddaughter to the 10 and 11 year old. When they say they have lots do do for kids they mean it. I have stayed at numerous vacation rentals and this was the best. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Also the view is great.

Summary: The property had wonderful views and the kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. Getting into the house was a little challenging since there was no pathway except for some spaced flagstone and a willow tree that needed some trimming so as not to block the path. There were no instructions that we could find to run the TV upstairs or downstairs and since we had a lot of rain while we were there, it ended up being somewhat of an issue. The property is really outfitted for large families or groups and would work well if you do not mind the 30 minute drive into Durango.

Summary: Absolute gorgeous view of the valley and mountains. Very relaxing. Close enough to Durango but still let's you feel like your on your own ranch. It's also very, very clean!! The house cleaning staff do a wonderful job.

Summary: This property is excellent. It’s remote and away from the touristy areas in Durango but only a short drive to stores, restaurants and attractions. Plus the views from the house are incredible. The pics don’t really do it justice. And the property is very well equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen.
