Summary: The cabin was amazing! The only complaint we had was how hot the upstairs was! We had to go out and buy a bigger fan for the window and it was still warm a night or 2. Also the downstairs temperature was a little warm for our liking. Other than that the place was perfect!

Summary: A cabin in a beautiful wilderness setting, yet only 10 miles or so from gas and groceries and another short drive to Munising which is a must see destination. (Pictured Rocks) The owner was responsive and courteous answering questions. The family rooms and main bedrooms are cozy and charming, kitchen appliances are modern and again the views are spectacular

Summary: We loved everything about the property. The only complaint is that the tree growth around the deck could be cut back to try and alleviate the abundance of flies and mosquitoes. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for seclusion and peace and quiet

Summary: Loved out stay here. Just a nice cabin in the woods with just about everything you need to be comfortable away from it all. You still get cell service with the extender they have, which is nice cause once you leave the house, there was no google maps - cell service went to zero! Pretty much any kitchen utensil or gadget you need is in there - plenty of freezer and fridge space. We brought all our own food and stocked the fridge for the long weekend we were there. Great location being not too far from Pictured Rocks and Munising. Loved going back on the trails that are right on the property. Gorgeous views and sunsets. Felt right at home.

Summary: We had a great time at this house - it was perfect for our group. Funny set up but seriously perfect for a couple of families looking to have a place to crash and spend time together. We had a dad and his two boys take the downstairs bedroom and a mom, dad and 3 teens take the upstairs loft. It worked well. We slept in the queen bed in the loft and it was really comfortable! The upstairs can get a little stuffy on super hot days - the cold air doesn't quite make it up there - but it wasn't terrible - we slept with the window open and fan placed in front of it at night and it cooled off nicely. Unless it gets replaced soon, don't rely on being able to use the grill because it is not really in working order - which isn't the end of the world as long as you aren't planning on it. The firepit is great - love that its surrounded by sand so you can feel good about having it and not setting the whole forest on fire. It really is a perfect place out in the woods - nice environment for families, we would return if we are looking for a house up there again and its available. It was great being here because you feel like you can be totally comfortable - just enough amenities to make you comfortable but not all frilled up to make you feel like you can't touch anything, lest you leave a mark on it. Its a well-loved, clean, comfortable cabin. Its the perfect distance from Pictured Rocks and other attractions you might want to go to while in the UP. Being right off the trails, it would also be great for quads and snowmobiles. We don't have either but we were daydreaming about how that would be really cool if we did - you could bring them with you and have an awesome time! Thanks for allowing us to rent it! We had a great time!
