If you have smokers or vapers in your party you may not rent from us. Seven (7) adults max. This is not a party house. It is for respectful, quiet enjoyment only. A three season cedar hot tub can be used as a hot or cold plunge. IR sauna is plug and go. Top off timer till it heats up. Auto shut off is at 60 minutes. Good dogs are always welcome. Max two dogs per stay. We only rent to the primary renter. For insurance reasons, we do not accept reservations from proxies. We can't wait to host you. You are beautiful. Stay safe, everyone!

The farm, first built circa 1790, now features cutting-edge solar power, a screen porch, two (2) wood-burning stoves, an outdoor three (3) season hot tub, and an expansive lot. Unwind on the hammocks, lounge on the patio, and take in the airy mountain views. Architect-designed to be a striking addition to the Catskills landscape by NYC firm Contegiacomo and Associates. Stunning, high-quality, building has created the ultimate retreat set on 17 acres w/ meadow, water, and mountain sunset views. Detailed throughout with big windows, marble sinks, custom stairs, and hickory floors. The open-plan main floor includes a library, a wood stove, a custom kitchen, and double height ceilings. A second wood stove and radiant heat floors are upstairs. Outside, a screened porch leads to an impressive three-season cedar barrel-style spa tub that is closed in the winter. Outside, the screen porch, loungers, some hammocks, and a fire pit round out the relaxation options. Of course, free Wi-Fi to all guests. So you're getting married? Oh snap! We're not wedding planners, and do not offer wedding support through this platform. Need to mention: We put 100% into everyone's stay. We ask that you respect our home and do not try to sneak in extra people, or throw parties, record an album, shoot a movie, or do anything outside of customary quiet enjoyment parameters. We will find out. However, if you wish to rent the property for filming or recording, just ask and we'll get on it. We host productions and are listed with the major location services. Catskills water: We are on triple-filtered well water. It is not civic water, so it may not be what you're used to.

Summary: We are regulars at this beautiful rural rental, which has become our monthly reset button. But we had no idea these sweet owners just installed an infrared sauna. What? We loved trying out this new wellness option on Valentine's Day. I may even prefer it to the steam sauna at the gym. We didn't need a reason to return but now we have one! 10/10 we'll be back.

Summary: This is a beautiful and serene property to get away from it all! Host was extremely responsive and clearly loves this charming family home. Record collection was so fun, and teens enjoyed the board game collection. Pay close attention to the very clearly stated contract details re: well water so you are prepared as it was a bit of an adjustment for our family.

Summary: A stay at Full Moon Farm means welcoming the day with breakfast on a screened in porch, a morning soak in the hot tub, watching horses graze in the field, taking a nap on the perfect corner couch and feeling safe and dry during summer thunderstorms. We come back year after year due to the kindness and attentiveness of the host. It never disappoints!

Summary: Very nice time and the house had all that we needed. The host could not be any nicer and super responsive to give us dining recommendations etc. We had 2 nice days of skiing at Windham and a warm and cozy home to return to. Would for sure recommend to others! Thanks, ED

Summary: If you are looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy nature, get away from the noise and hustle, AND listen to an extensive vinyl collection: Full Moon Farm has it all. We woke to the birds singing and went to bed with a night sky filled with stars. The house is beyond well appointed—a gourmet kitchen, hot tub, luxury bedding. And honestly—if you loved the music of the 80s and 90s (think: The Smiths, Squeeze, The Pretenders, REM, The Ramones) you might re-live your youth spinning records like we did! (Or in the case of our youngest guest, discover the joy of playing a record for the first time!) An amazing place with generous and communicative hosts!

Summary: The house is really unique; it has everything you need, beds were comfy and as we had a couple of 'cool' nights we used the wood stove once and it got really cozy and warm. We enjoyed the screened-in porch as well as the patio. The location is very nice and quiet as it is at a dead end road. You may be able to hear the neighbors kids and horses but you will mainly hear the concert of birds around the house. We saw deer, plenty of chipmunks, rabbits, 2 turtles and even a porcupine on the property. Hubby saw a bald eagle while fishing in the near by Catskills Creek! There are plenty of hiking trails, opportunities to bike , visit little towns and in general fantastic country roads to drive around on to enjoy the views! The night skies are amazingly clear and at the end of our stay we did get to enjoy a full moon! Make sure you read the owner description so you understand the water situation and the rules of the house - their house, their rules! One thing to consider if you are coming with small kids and/or with dogs that may tend to wander off. Part of the property is fenced in but that does not apply to the area just around the house. You will need to supervise the little ones and or confine your furry friend. Did not matter to us as our Senior Dachshund just strolled around the perimeter not straying far - and enjoyed this bit of freedom just as much as we did! The owner is very responsive and helpful with any concerns/questions! So we tally our trip to Full Moon Farm to the positive experiences we have had with properties we rented on VRBO! Go try it yourself!
