Positive: Location was good however the noise on street with people partying until around 2am was not good!! Also the traffic noise was rather annoying if you had the doors to deck open during the day. Even with everything closed it kept us awake especially the motor bikes roaring up and down.
Negative: Far too house and felt the apartment was a little tired. Bathrooms were very old. However everything was very functional but needs a bit of updating. Also a little inconvenient having to go to a different address which was about 3km away to get keys out of a lock box and return them there. Why isn’t there a lockbox at the property we booked?
Summary: Nice location but wouldn’t stay here again because far too noisy.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and well-maintained the property was. The spacious open-plan living area felt modern yet welcoming, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to whip up meals when we weren’t dining out. The large balcony was a highlight—perfect for relaxing with a coffee or enjoying a meal outdoors with the fresh Mount Maunganui air. The apartment’s location is unbeatable, right on the main strip of downtown Mount Maunganui. We were steps away from an array of fantastic restaurants, lively bars, and charming shops—everything we needed was at our fingertips. Positive: Centrally located with 2 carparks, 2 bathrooms, nice decor, comfortable beds, good sized balcony,, everything we needed for our group.
Negative: Wifi wouldn’t connect one evening/night but did come back on in the morning, lots of street noise if in the front bedroom. Not so keen on having to go elsewhere to pick up and return keys. Better if key box at apartment block
