Summary: So lovely and cozy! I could’ve stayed here forever. Kind of rustic which we absolutely loved. Had everything we needed. Very easy to find and super close to the ferry.

Summary: Was a great place to have a family weekend. Lots of things provided bikes, ladder golf, paddle boards.. propane fire pit…has an amazing view at sunrise with the water and tides. Cabin was well equipped and cozy. The host Gary was great and really enjoyed chatting with him

Summary: The property was great until we found too many flies and flying ants dead and dying in the place. The cottage had been fumigated the day before so there was still evidence. We tried to stay after most of the bugs were cleaned up but the bugs just kept coming back! We received a refund from the host and moved to a hotel.

Summary: We had an excellent time at the cottage. We were able to venture into Victoria for sight seeing as well as Sidney. We didn’t get a chance to use any of the “toys” - ladderball, paddle board, or bikes. The cottage is small but had everything we needed foe the most part! There was a table fire pit available as well as a BBQ. I recommend bringing your own beach towels. We would go back to this place for sure!

Summary: I regret that i have to write this review. I booked this place because of its high rankings. Im not sure what has happened to this property but when i visited here with my mother and partner, this is how it was: 1. The cabin is NOT as depicted in the photos. It is very small, almost uninhabiatble. The yard is so tiny that you cannot use it. 2. The cabin is dirty. There were dead bugs all around the cabin. The dishes were stained. The sheets on the couch had not been washed and there were stains on them. There were stains on the bathroom mirror. Doors and door knobs were so dirty that it was painful to open the door. 3. The shampoo left for use was half empty. And the soaps stank. 4. The bedroom was never dusted and the pillows stank. We visited during summer and the whole island was crowded. If i could have found another place on the spot I would have. This place is not fit for human dwelling. I will not book with Vrbo again given the company has given the host green light to list such a place. Here's what you can do to book a much nicer place: use other travel booking agencies and book a villa by the beach either towards the southwest or north. They're the same price and drive towards them is actually pleasant.

Summary: Was the perfect location for our early morning ferry departure. It was nicely decorated, outfitted and the bed was pretty darn comfortable! We did have a bit of an issue finding the driveway entrance but that was it.

Summary: We loved staying here! It was so clean and cute inside and had everything we might need for cooking! The step up into the bedroom and the wooden floors made it feel like an old farm home, and it was the perfect place to stay on our honeymoon! The owner also let us come in a bit early as we arrived on the island in the early morning!! They were extremely accommodating and quick with communicating!

Summary: The cottace is right beside the highway which is brilliant if you come from or go to the ferry at Swartz Bay. But, traffic does create noise, you should be aware of that.
