Summary: Had a short stop over at Blue Heron. House was updated and nice and on a lovely stretch of river. No Wi-Fi or cell service and no land line. Feel for safety reasons, owners should consider getting a landline or Wi-Fi. But we enjoyed the view and nice deck, and place was overall very comfortable.

Summary: We stayed here to end our two week vacation and it was just 30 mins from home but allowed all of us to u wind coming off of several days of high activity with the kids. The kids enjoyed the River and swam and fished a little bit. It was quiet and cozy. Only thing I wished was TVs in the bedrooms.

Summary: We love staying with New River retreat. The house was very peaceful and the layout was great for our family of 6. If you need WiFi or cell service this might not be the place for you. We enjoyed the break from it all. The property managers communicated throughout our stay. Our pups enjoyed the river and laying on the deck. We will definitely be back
