Welcome to Shatoma Place, our cozy one story single family home! No stairs or shared walls in a quiet residential neighborhood in the south suburbs of Chicago. We are a short 10 minute drive to the train station to downtown Chicago and close to interstate I-57 and I-394. 5 minutes from Governors State University and less than a half hour from many local hospitals. We are also a short drive from neighboring shopping areas. No parties, no 3rd party bookings. no pets/animals, must be 21 to book.

Summary: The property itself is great. Ton of beds and blankets. Super communicative, kind owner. Very very clean. Had everything we could have asked for and more, such as several multi type chargers, a super fully stocked kitchen, bottled water cooler. We were greeted with a good luck sign for our daughter’s competition! Comfortable stay for everyone and we really felt at home - so thankful for such a great stay

Summary: Our stay at this property was awesome! The house was wonderful! Thalia had us a Christmas tree and the house was decorated for Christmas. We we’re basically at my family’s but we slept at the property and we had every comfort of home we needed. Thalia was always responsive! She gave us 4 Christmas Lights locations to visit and we enjoyed that! I would love to use this property again!

Summary: The home was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Host was responsive and very helpful! She even left a nice little sign welcoming our family to the home! Great touch! The location was perfect as we had a few family events to attend while in town. Quick trip to: Frankfort, Monee, Bradley, and Orland Park! Thank you and I would definitely book again!

Summary: Me & my husband wanted to plan a last minute getaway for our anniversary. We happen to come across this location and absolutely fell in love with the home . It was cozy but spacious & had literally everything we needed plus more. My family and friend’s surprised us with a joint anniversary present and decided to present it to us at the home . When I told host about the unexpected company she was understanding! She went over and beyond when it came to adding personal anniversary touches to the home. It was such a clean home & my friends and family agreed with how nice the home was , my sister even mentioned how good it smelled when she walked in. Host even made a last minute alteration to our booking in less than 5 mins. My husband said several times how this will be our “vacation” home when we come to Chicago to visit family in the future . We travel a lot & have had several didn’t vacation rentals and this by far has been the easiest, nicest & cleanest home!

Summary: This house was perfect for our family! The location was great in a nice neighborhood close to where we were visiting. The house was very clean and provided lots of little extras that most VRBO rentals do not. I would definitely recommend for others and hope to return next year for another stay!

Summary: Hi, me and my family came for a baby shower. The pictures don't help the house a bit. The house is beautiful, clean, well kept up inside and out. This was the best air b&b I have stayed at. It made me feel proud that my family enjoyed their stay. (I chose the house ) my can be very picky about things. They LOVED everything about house. The house had everything we needed and more. The linen was nice and not faded. The house was stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. The host Thalia was great! I was locked out of the house by mistake of my brother I contacted Thalia and she came right away. She said 15 minutes but it only seems like 10 minutes. We loved the area as well!!! I will book this place again and if you looking for a nice and quiet place try Thalia PLACE!!!!!!
