Summary: We stayed several days with our adult kids and their significant others and children, and this property worked great for us. We had plenty of room to share meals, play games, and relax. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the front porch was perfect for a quiet morning coffee listening to the birds. The little ones enjoyed running up and down the hill and exploring. The house was a great home base for us to do some hiking and exploring in nearby Hocking Hills State Park area.

Summary: We had 6 adults and 2 kids staying for a long weekend (Thursday-Monday), with two additional adults joining us one night. There was plenty of space for the 10 of us. The property was clean and beautiful, and the grill, hot tub, and fire pit were great additions. The one instance where we did need to contact to owner, he was responsive and resolved our concern almost immediately. The proximity to Lake Logan and Hocking Hills was exactly what we needed, too. Overall, we all had an incredible experience and will definitely book again!

Summary: My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We booked it because of the pictures of the living room on the listing, and it lived up to its expectation! We just wanted a nice place to hang out and spend time together! The flow from the kitchen to living room and dining room was great as we could be in different “rooms” and still interact! The living room was a great place for us all to hang out! We greatly enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

Summary: Everything was clean and in order. Beds were comfortable. Trying to get beds stripped, towels into a pile, refrigerator emptied, trash taken out, and everything back as we found it by 10am was hard. Would have been nice if check out was 11am. Other than that we loved it.

Summary: We use house rentals several times a year and have a fair expectation for the state they are in. At its price point, this home fell far short of standards. I contacted the owner about these issues and while he responded quickly and said he would check back in after following up with the cleaners, I never heard from him again. -The walls are in dire need of patching, cleaning, and fresh paint. They are dirty and marked up truly everywhere. Dirt, handprints, huge scuff marks, dents, and what looked like red drink spilled on them. -The doors are the same level of dirty. Covered in smears and handprints. -Stained carpet in the bunk room. -Hair stuck to shower walls. -Flickering/dying lights the kitchen island light and the two can lights in the living room furthest from the fireplace. -Dishwasher had standing water in the bottom and smelled of mold when we opened it the first night. -Lazy Suzan shelf in kitchen covered in sticky brown substance. -All of the window sills need a significant cleaning. Many dead bugs and debris. -There were half a dozen crushed “Twisted Tea” cans around the house grounds. -Finally, check out instructions provided by email are very different from those provided in the binder. Probably half an hour more work required of the renter. This house has a great hot tub and living room, and a beautiful yard. Lots of potential, if only it was taken care of!

Summary: We needed a house that could accommodate our whole family since we were in Lancaster for a funeral….and this was perfect! Enough room for all of us, clean and comfortable. We were able to cook some meals in the well equipped kitchen and all of the furnishings were very nice.

Summary: This is a great property with plenty of room for all. We brought our kids and their friends on the trip and had a blast. It's secluded, but close enough to all Hocking Hills has to offer. We would stay here again!
