The cabin has been beautifully restored and is set on a very private dead-end road. There are multiple hang out areas between the 2 cabins but connected via a breezeway. These 40 acres are perfect for your next family retreat, vacation with friends, or a romantic couples weekend. We cannot wait to (hopefully) host you at Sugar Valley Lodge soon!

2. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 / per day.
3. Note, we do have a security camera at the home and it is recording 24/7, 365 days a year. It is facing the exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside the home.
4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.
5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent.
6. You may hear some interstate noise, even with the secluded location of this property.

Summary: We had a mini family reunion with 10 people and the house provided a great place to eat, connect, and play games in the covered garage! We felt we had all the comforts of home and enjoyed the solitude. We look forward to re ring again next year!

Summary: This historic cabin from 1780 is a wonderful step back in time that makes you feel like you're a part of revolutionary America yet with all the modern conveniences. Your group of 20 will find this a great place to get away from it all. The converted garage was great for our group to eat meals in a buffet style and it made meal prep and cleanup so much easier. While you're in the middle of nowhere on a dead-end road you still have access to a well-stocked Amish grocery store only 4min away, a couple of diners 5 minutes away, and a Super Walmart for everything else only 20 minutes away. Be sure to bring some sports stuff to enjoy the land or travel to Penn's Cave, Konobels, or take in the Amish country stores. Overall the place was cleaned and fairly decently stocked with dishes and tools for our meal prep. The beds were comfortable for the most part with clean linens and the bathrooms are well stocked with many towels and other needs. I must mention though that our stay wasn't without some flexibility. -Apparently, a cat got inside and decided to "leave their mark" all over the living room and some in the kitchen. -The grill was out of propane and the knobs are broken -The pool table jams inside stopping the balls from exiting. You have to reach deep inside to get them out. -Bedroom 3 didn't have AC. Thankfully it was a cool week. Even with these and a few other mishaps we would stay again and recommend it to you.

Summary: We were looking for a place to relax and spend time with our kids and grandkids. We were immediately in love with the property, it was stunning. The house was very nice! Ample room for all 15 of us! Plenty of towels for everyone too, which was great. We had all kinds of fun, s'mores and blankets at the fire pit, fishing at the pond, spending cool nights chatting on the porch. Grandchildren playing on the outdoor playset. All in all, we had a wonderful time. Only 2 areas of concern, we had a bed break when someone sat down on it (we ended up repairing the frame ourselves since maintenance couldnt get there for several days) and one corner of the downstairs living room smelled like cat pee. Other than that, it was a great time!

Summary: Overall this place was a great stay! We had a group of 20 sleep comfortably and there was plenty of space to spread out. The only bad thing was 2 showers for 20 people can be hard. Other than that great folks to work with!

Summary: We had a great visit. The house was very nice and clean. The couch in the living room had an odor to it and the kitchen had some light bulbs that need to be replaced. But other then that it was perfect. We would definitely rent it again.

Summary: The property was exactly as described plus it had a swing set out back that the kiddos really enjoyed. Landon is a great host and very communicative. There was plenty of room for all 19 of us. Highly recommend!

Summary: Communication from the lister was clear and prompt. The property was exactly as listed and was perfect for the big family gathering that we were looking to have. The space was great to just hang out with plenty to do (game room, fishing, fire pit, and plenty of room for kids to run outdoors). My family was very pleased with the entire stay!
