Summary: One of the best log cabins we've been in.Fabulous setting.. private, good views, serene.love the large rooms, lobster boats. Well worth the money. However we found the property challenging for elderly folks for a few reasons:- easiest entry was thru the garage .. two steep steps and no handrails- low toilet seats- no grab/safety bars in or near the showers- slippery shower floors- no main floor TV - we brought a smart tv which worked well .. strong internet bandwidth was fine.

Summary: Great stay, even in cooler weather (hot tub was great for this). Would love to stay here again in another season or for our annual April trip again next year. Plenty of room in the house for kids, parents and grandparents. Zero complaints!

Summary: A spacious, spotless beautiful home on a secluded lot. We had plenty of room for our group of 9! The hosts quickly responded if we had any questions. This was our third stay here and we would highly recommend it be one of yours if you are traveling along the Maine coast. Having the hot tub was an added bonus for sure.

Summary: We had a fantastic winter long weekend at the house with our teenage son. This was our second time staying here. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking our meals and the beds were very comfortable. We relaxed in front of the fireplace and stargazed in the hot tub. The nearby towns are full of great restaurants and bookstores. Our stay really was perfect and we can’t wait to return.

Summary: Our family decided on an impromptu trip to Maine for a weekend stay. It included me, my husband, our three children (18,18 and 12) and our two dogs. There was more than enough space for everyone and it was probably the most well stocked home including everything we needed or wanted. We loved the open concept first floor with the spectacular views of the river. The basement was cozy and the kids enjoyed hanging out down there. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace and pellet stove made it extra cozy! Amanda was a super host and extremely responsive to our questions. The hot tub was a huge bonus feature and I felt like the dogs were welcomed with bowls, a crate and beautiful grounds to run around. The location was very private, but close to shopping and sight seeing locations! We are already planning our return trip!

Summary: What a fantastic property. It was exactly the peaceful seclusion we were looking for. Place was spotless and massive. Best way to ring in the New Year, cooking together, playing board games, laughter and cheer. Hoping we can come back with a larger group so they can experience the fantastic space, too.
