Summary: Great location for day trips and/or staying in place. The hosts provide kayaks, canoes, life jackets. Plenty of wood for campfires. The kitchen is fully equipped for making big or small meals. Marquette is a beautiful town to explore.

Summary: My husband and I and our two children (2 and 4 months) recently stayed and had an amazing time. The house is perfect- clean, cozy, nicely decorated and has everything you could need for a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were nice quality. The main house had plenty of space for our family of 4 with 2 young ones, there was a second building with a nice master suite that we didn’t even need to use. The hot tub was incredible with views over the water. There was also a smart TV with cable that was great to use and keep the kids busy while cooking and on one of the rainy days. Our 2 year old had such a good time he did not want to leave! The location was also great - just minutes from town if you needed anything but when you arrived you felt like you were miles away at the lake. The hosts were also wonderful and helped make the stay even better. We can’t wait to stay again!

Summary: Wonderful spot that was quiet and surrounded by nature. We loved the lake, hot tub, and the separate parent's bedroom. Seth and Carrie were wonderful hosts and live nearby. They were able to help us out with anything right away. Definitely a wonderful week!

Summary: We had a great time. There is everything you need to relax and enjoy. My kids loved painting rocks and playing in the hot tub. Meijer is right up the street, so grocery shopping was easy on the way in. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quite vacation with family

Summary: What an amazing property! My impression with this property started with the booking. The owner’s communication is exceptional. We had a few outings scheduled away from the house and were always anxious to get back to relax. This was a great get-away and I highly recommend!

Summary: Celebrated my 40-something birthday in style with just me and my husband. The cabin was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. I kayaked while he watched movies during the days all around the peaceful lake. Since it’s covid world, we brought everything we needed to eat and drink from MN but super happy to be greeted with treats and extra condiments/spices in the kitchen if we needed them. I’d recommend this place for a family or two fun couples. We rented a suv to enter and was needed but nothing too crazy for the driveway decent. The Cedar hot tub is new, clean and can be set within a few hours to your temperature needs for the whole stay. (We set at 102 with cover) The grill is also new and very easy to use. Neighbors pass by on boats and quietly wave. Our only issue was the last night, neighbor lady right across the lake yelled at us to turn our lights off and go to bed at 11:30pm while we were having a campfire for 2. We are in our 40’s and we were alone, it felt pretty bizarre. She had spent the whole day on her phone talking loudly in her yard and I felt like she was spying on us. The rest of the lake folks were super private and friendly. Just had to say it in case you want to be up late on your vacation and enjoy yourselves. We did not engage. Overall, I’ve already shared the cabin link with MI friends :) great getaway!!! Thank you!

Summary: We recently stayed here with 4 adults. It was the absolute perfect setup for two couples because the separated master gave each of us our very own sleeping quarters. A few highlights: - It was very clean and I appreciated finding an insert in the Welcome Binder about the extra cleaning precautions being taken for COVID. - There are so many different outdoor seating areas/spaces to enjoy on the property. We all had a good time hopping from the fire pit to the deck to the picnic table to the hanging hammock chair. - The hot tub overlooking the lake is amazing. It was close quarters but it fit 4 adults fine. It's deeper than & more spacious than may look. - The lake is super quiet, there aren't too many other houses on the lake in general and there's plenty of space & greenery between properties on either side to make it feel like a totally private and isolated stay. We only saw a few boats drive by and all passerbys were very friendly - waving and saying hi to us from the water. - The house has everything you need and then some. Plenty of extra towels, blankets, kitchen tools, firewood, etc. The owners are incredibly generous with what they provide. They even left us some smores ingredients :) - You're right on the water, it's easy to take the kayaks out on the calm water for a spin. The whole weekend we all talked about how this was the perfect lake house and if we ever become lucky enough to afford our own, it's what we'd pick! I can't wait to return.
