Positive: That portion of the beach close to the water villas is awesome, the color of the water is breathtaking! The sunset from the bar or the swimming pool is amazing. The diving center is top quality, very skilled and courteous staff.
Negative: Our villa was on the opposite side of the jetty and the sea water on that side of the island is very shallow and full of dead corals that make it difficult to walk up to the point where you can swim. The water is also so still that looks more like a pond. We had to walk to the opposite side of the island every day to have a nice swim close to the water villas. The check-in experience has been really disappointing, close to 50 minutes of wait to allow the staff to complete a very manual process to register a group of about 10 guests (that means we lost our first sunset waiting in vain at the lobby). The staff in general is not very skilled, most of them are very young and unexperienced. The restaurant quality is rather average to low-average. Not a lot of snorkeling options from the beach, which is why you get daily free boat ride for snorkeling.
