2 Bedroom Cabin in Luray

Very nice 2 bedroom 2 bath log cabin with great mountain views looking directly into the Shenandoah national park and skyline drive which is the highest elevation in our area. Relax in the 6 person hot tub complete with led lights and a plug in for iPhone to listen to music while you let the stress roll off you. Grill on the large deck that runs the whole length of cabin. Or sit awhile in the rockers on the screened porch, breathe that fresh mountain air!!! Roast marshmallows in the fire pit while the view overtakes you. Top of the line cabin with very nice kitchen with hickory cabinets and granite counters and stainless appliances, all hickory floors thru out, great room with large rock fireplace. 50' led TV with bluray player and sat dish. 2 full baths with granite vanities , 2 queen size log beds. The cabin has large windows that allow a lot of natural light to come in so from inside the cabin or on the screened porch or deck or when you are in the hot tub, you will be enchanted by the views, we can not say enough about the views!!! Private but close to all activities.

Summary: Property was exactly as listed. It is beautiful with amazing view. Its close to everything you want to do. Only 2 complaints the deck had a board that was rotting away and if you weren't careful you could have stepped on a nail. The board was right outside the door going outside. Second was the fireplace. I could not get it lit. Not sure if the pilot light was out but some direction on how to get it lit would be helpful. Besides those 2 things I highly recommend this cabin. You will get your moneys worth.

Summary: The location is perfect and the views are spectacular! The Cabin is new and very spacious but there are a few things that we noticed that aren't mentioned in the listing. The door that goes out to the deck from the master bedroom has a broken lock, the power in the guest bedroom wasn't working, several light bulbs around the house were burnt out, the screen door on the deck is broken, and the floor vent in the kitchen has a massive hole punched in it. There is also a whole additional floor of the house currently under construction below the main level so make sure you lock the door that is in the living room that leads down there. They also say no parties are allowed. However, below the deck and all around the woods there are red solo cups and all kinds of other trash scattered around. It is a great house and we enjoyed our stay, but it needs better upkeep. We plan on coming back in the future but hopefully these issues will be fixed.

Summary: Nice, clean cabin with nice views from the deck. Hot tub was great. Check-in was easy. Lake Arrowhead park was very nice. Walking our dog was a bit difficult around the cabin. The driveway was rather steep and the parking area was the only flat area. We enjoyed visiting and shopping in Luray.

Summary: Well it was a nice stay but out of all the cabins if ever stayed in not sure I’ll be back here. The cabin was the dirtiest and smelliest I’ve been in. One room had a very molding musky smell. They charge a cleaning fee but surely don’t clean with that money. Also expect you to wash dishes, sweep/mop, take out the trash then why pay to clean when we have to do it. Why pay when they aren’t going to do it. Hardly any toilet paper in the place. For the price they can do much better. View was awesome and cabin was a nice place but lol

Summary: Was disappointed there was no wifi when the listing states wifi. There is no cell service on Verizon Wireless or Att&T at the cabin or surrounding area. Had no way to keep in touch with my child. The cabin is beautiful. I will say make sure you wash the dishes before using them cause most are dirty, some clearly not washed at all. The couch coushions are torn. Disappointing when you pay for what is supposed to be the worth the price. You pay a cleaning fee but the cleaners don't clean the showers n such. I think they just wash the towels yet they had a smell to them. The view made it worth it. The hot tub was nice. Mostly has on the enclosed patio drinking coffee and enjoying each other's company. I give it a 4 because we had an amazing time together. Would have been a 5 if the couch was tore up, if the dishes were ready to use and if the towels didn't smell like they were simply folded back up and put away. Bring your own towels and stuff even though they are included. Make sure you do not need contact with the outside world. Perfect quiet get away without electronics.

Summary: It's a nice cabin to get away in with a nice hot tub. The owner communicates briefly but promptly but the cabin was not cleaned well. The coffee maker had not been emptied and had mold growing in it and the sofa had dog hair on it. Bring your own kitchenware and toiletries, the ones provided aren't the best but will definitely do. Other than that it was fairly easy to get to, instructions were clear, owner was prompt but I don't think it warrants its price. Especially the cleaning fee.
