Positive: We stayed 5 days in this hotel. The location is very quiet and away from the busy centre of Kalimpong. The room is spacious and the balcony gives a nice view, but unfortunately no sunshine, as it has a north-orientation. It was quite cold in the room, but with the provided heater no problem. Everything in the room is dated and lack of maintenance. Sheets and towels are worn out and with holes in it. The breakfast does not have many options, the food is okay, but not great. As is the food during lunch: okay but not great. Housekeeping works very hard and looks understaffed, although there are other staffmembers walking around seemingly doing nothing. Strange and unusual fact is that you have to give your roomkey to reception if you want your room cleaned because housekeeping doesn’t have a master key(??).
