Relax with the whole family on a country getaway in a bucolic lake community! Soaring ceilings and high windows flood the great room with natural light, and the huge fireplace makes for wonderful cozy family game nights. Relax on the hammock in the shade, or play bocce or corn hole in the backyard. Fire up the Weber grill on the back porch, and roast marshmallows over the fire pit on summer nights. Summary: I never got to visit your house but my relatives who stayed there while here for a family event all reported that it was just fine. The only very minor snag was that they did not know what their responsibilities were for checkout. They left at different times and the last one out wasn’t expecting to have to deal with trash, etc. I hope your house was left in good shape. It might be helpful if there were a card somewhere (refrigerator door?) with checkout checklist.

Summary: The location is fabulous. Chalet is located on large property with many trees so when it snowed on Saturday it was magical!!!Having a huge fireplace was so cozy…..Kitchen was updated and had room for all ….. Drive to Mohawk and Litchfield was a piece of cake !!! Drove to Da Capo in Litchfield and had best pizza we have ever had!!! Our family plans to return to the chalet next year …. God willing xoxo
