Positive: Third time at this place and it’s always clean and tidy and the beach is a few steps away. A pool is also a nice new addition.
Negative: The owner did not want to listen when we told him there was no not water on the second floor room we had sometimes it was warm but mostly very cold having been very poorly with sickness this was not ideal. He just needs to realise people have travelled all over the world and it’s a basic requirement!!

Positive: The location was great, really close to the beach and the Centre of the village. The staff was really polite and eager to make conversation
Negative: No five-people rooms so we got two rooms instead.

Positive: Location was great close to beach and lots of facilities. Room had balcony with sea view. Staff and Cleaning lady always friendly and helpful.
Negative: Shower is made in a way that water unfortunately runs on the floor and you need couple of towels to dry it. That's way we had to ask for fresh clean towel every day.

Positive: Breakfast was not available at the Sunlight Beach. Makis is a very personable owner, he offers the Cretan hospitality at a fair price. The location of the Sunlight Beach is ideal, just across the road from the beach. The restaurant serves Cretan cuisine for a reasonable price.
Summary: A very enjoyable stay, I would recommend the Sunlight Beach for a good value holiday .
