Beautiful one-room efficiency in grand 1927 home in downtown historic Trinity Park, walking distance to Duke campus, parks, restaurants and bars, theaters and much more!

I live in the area, but travel a lot. So my friend Emily takes the lead on communicating with you and making the space ready for you.
Historic Trinity Park is one of Durham’s most sought-after neighborhoods, both for its historic architecture and prime location. The tree lined streets connect to parks, Duke’s East campus, and right to the heart of downtown. I love that I can enjoy the peace and quiet on my street, and within a 5 minute walk be in the middle of everything.
There's a lot within walking and biking distance, but there are also several other options to get around including buses (some are free), ride services and by car (parking is usually not a problem).
As stated in the house rules, there is an automatic minimum $250 service fee for any violations of house rules that require additional cleaning and/or cause damage. This is our home. We have tried to make it comfortable for you and for us, and have been thoughtful in the amenities we provide. We appreciate you for exercising the same level of thought and care when staying here.
While we are happy to host families, please note that the apartment is not “child-proofed,” nor do we provide any child-focused amenities (no crib, pack-n-play, high chair, etc).
We do ask that guests are relatively quiet after 10 PM, as a courtesy to neighbors. Noise travels in the house, and the downstairs apartment will hear you walking around!
Please don't operate the laundry after 9pm.
Parties and loud groups are not permitted. Thanks for helping us be good neighbors.
Smoking or vaping of any substances is not permitted on the premises.
Well-behaved pets are welcome, and must be registered with the reservation. There is a pet fee. Pets cannot be left alone in the back yard.
Reservations longer than 29 nights may incur additional fees.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the sunny efficiency on Gloria Avenue. The area was beautiful and we found the apartment to be very clean and comfortably furnished. The property location was near restaurants and shops. We went to a Duke game at nearby Cameron Stadium. My only complaint were the problems we had with the rental agreement link. Otherwise I would have given the property 5 stars. We will definitely book this property again when we're in the area.

Summary: This was my 2nd stay and where my pups and I will stay anytime we are in Durham if we can secure a reservation. Great park 2 blocks away.Studio is clean, has everything a short stay needs, including dog bowls. Home is older with cool wood floors big on charm. The stairs creak but added to the charm and the bathroom was renovated and fresh.

Summary: I was in Durham for 3 days and found this apartment to be great. Very clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the necessities you would receive in a hotel and more. The bed is comfy and the unit is really large. The neighborhood is loaded with historic homes that make for a scenic walk around. I also walked to downtown Durham twice for dinner and drinks. In my opinion, it is the best way to get a flavor for a city when you walk places. It felt very safe and their are sidewalks everywhere. It is a pedestrian/bike friendly area. The edge of Duke University campus is just a few blocks away and it is worth taking a stroll on the path they have around the campus. Overall, great experience staying here and I would come back here the next time I am in town.
