Positive: Description of lock box location could have better/ clearer. They were several in that location and they essentially all look the same. Put the number of the unit on it or paint it bright blue like the front door. Something to make it stand out.
Negative: Just so people understand it is a loft apartment so the only bed is up in the loft. Fine if you don’t have mobility issues. We liked the place.
Summary: Nice loft in Vieux Pt, Marseille. Conveinient location, near restaurants. Located in a courtyard.

Positive: The apartment is quirky and stylish. The location is excellent. In a pedestrian area with tonnes of cafes and restaurants all around. It’s busy at night, so if you want complete peace it’s not for you. But we rather like the buzz! Lots of light and things to look at out of the window, which I rather enjoy.
Negative: The mezzanine bedroom area is awkward, uncomfortable, and downright dangerous. See photos. In addition to lack of head height, the floorboards are all lifted up and distorted. Manoevering your way across these in a crouch position is hazardous, to say the least. And if you get it wrong and slip, see photo of the sheer drop on one side where there is no barrier or handrail. I notice some other guests have mentioned sleeping on the sofa bed downstairs instead. We might have done this if we had been prior warned and if we knew this was an option.
Summary: Beautiful apartment and location, but completely impractical mezzanine.

Positive: wonderful space, super spacious, really stylish, wonderfully decorated, beautiful light, and excellent location
Negative: The mezzanine, the wooden beams of the ceiling are literary above you as you're lying on the bed; needless to say there's no way one can stand up, so the sleeping experience may be anything but ideal. A good solution for people who may be uncomfortable with lack of space above the bed, is to put a double sofa bed in the stunning studio area of the loft, so that the guests have a choice of sleeping area.

Positive: Location amazing, facilities excellent, clean bathroom, nice shower, interesting spacious layout
Negative: The bed is up close to the ceiling (part of the charm of the place) but you have to be careful of hitting your head. Also I would advise arriving during the day - it was a bit difficult finding the address, lock box etc in the dark. The photos helped, and the owner responded to our appeal for help immediately.
Summary: We had a great stay in this loft - location enabled easy access to all the sights.
