Located in the King Coho neighbourhood of Little River the “The Suite off Singing Sands” is located in a quiet residential area next to the ocean. You will drive up a flat driveway to your own dedicated parking space right outside the private entrance. Once inside you walk up two steps to the bright, quiet and comfy studio one block from a beautiful and walkable beach.
Our suite is not suitable for children or pets.
Please note, there is no kitchen but the suite is equipped with a microwave and barbecue for your cooking needs.
King size bed with a Casper mattress plus a 2 inch mattress topper combined with a down duvet and memory foam pillows will guarantee a comfortable nights sleep. In winter an electric fireplace will keep you toasty as you relax in bed reading or watching TV. In the summer the screen door lets the ocean breeze cool the suite plus there is a mini split air conditioner/heater. There is a private outdoor patio area with a patio table, four chairs and comfy cushions..
There is no kitchen but we offer a coffee cart which has a coffee maker, kettle, apartment size fridge and microwave. A free standing wardrobe will hold all your clothes and also stores extra blankets, spare pillows, slippers and a fan. Separate 3 piece bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Wifi, Cable, Netflix and free parking are included.
We are 5 minutes from the ferry that goes to Powell River and the Sunshine Coast and just 10 minutes from the airport. From our front door to the top of the ski hill (Mt. Washington) is 40 minutes or less now that the new connector is open.
Costco, Thrifty Foods, Tim Hortons and the new hospital are all less than 15 minutes away by car. Nanaimo is a one hour drive south and Victoria, our Capital City is 3 hours away by car.
Less than a five minute drive from the suite is 40 Knotts winery, which also hosts special events like weddings. The Comox Valley boasts several other award winning wineries such as Coastal Black, Beaufort Vineyard and Blue Moon Winery. There is also an artisanal distillery called Shelter Point which features premium whisky, vodka and liqueur.
