Positive: My stay at Sunrise was great! The view is absolutely beautiful! I loved just reading in the hammock overlooking the lake. The place is super clean. I accidently locked myself out of the house at 10pm (note that the balcony door also lock automatically) and the security guard and Nicolas were so nice to get the spare key over and let me back in. Thank you again. Nicolas also carried my rolling bag to the house when I arrived on the dirt path.

Negative: The bed is very firm, but that is standard in Guatemala. There is construction right next door, but that is not the properties fault. Also note that there is another Airbnb right next door that is super close and you can hear a bit. Because San Pablo is very local it is hard to get a boat taxi in mid day, had to take a tuctuc that they overcharged me for but I didn't really have a choice.

Summary: The house has an amazing view and Nicolas is very nice. Great value for the price. Super nice.

Positive: This place is gorgeous. It was exactly what I wanted for my last night at lago Atitlan. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. I slept very well and had a very relaxing enjoyable stay. I watched the most beautiful sunrise from the bed and felt extremely lucky to have found this little gem. I will definitely be back. Nicolas is really nice and he carried my bag for me along the short and lovely walk to the house. I felt that I could reach out if I needed anything and that is always important. Thank you!

Negative: absolutely nothing. it's perfect if you want to be in a peaceful setting with literally the best view.

Summary: Gorgeous two storey house, ideal for resting and enjoying a the peace and an unforgettable view

Positive: Perfect place for those seeking quiet and solitude. It’s a cozy two-story cabin with a kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, and great Wi-Fi. Just a 5–10 minutes walk along a narrow path to the San Pablo dock. The views are absolutely stunning, sunrise and volcanoes right from the cabin. I ended up extending my stay. Nicholas was super kind, helpful and responsive.

Positive: I usually avoid leaving reviews but this time I do it with complete pleasure. If you are looking for a quiet place, Romantic and with a million dollar view from your bedroom then this is the place for you. This 2 stories cabin is fully equiped with all you need (kitchen + fridge, shower with hot water, sofa, hammock etc.) and most important it is sparkling clean! The sheets and towel had such a fresh smell. Nicolas is a wonderful guy, working hard to keep up the place to western standards. He came to pick me up from the dock, carried my laguage to the cabin and gave me all information I needed. Before my arrival I told him that I will have my birthday that day and he decorated the wall with Feliz Cumpleanos sign and balloons! That was so special and I did not expect that - for that I am so greatful! Later on I also found in the room a bouquet of roses from his garden - and it smelled heavenly! So, San Lukas, sunrise Lago, very affordable price, peaceful, clean, quiet and secluded. Highly recommended!

Positive: The name of the house says it all!! The house is located right on the Lake Atilan in San Pablo Laguna and the view of the sunrise is spectacular. Having my morning coffee with the backdrop of the volcanos while watching Lake Atilan wake-up was amazing. It literally a view you can't put words to. The house is located on the lake side trail just to the right of the dock just a short walk through family farm gardens. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on this trip. There is a basic kitchen that is everything you need for making meals at the casa. This is a great place to stay for a few days or maybe more. This is not a tourist town so you won't find much of the tourist trap stuff here, which is really nice.you can travel up to the pueblo and other towns by tuk tuk or the boats.

Negative: I really can't think of anything. Support this listing. It will go a long way to support the local economy of San Pablo Laguna. The owner was awesome and helped me with my bags to the dock and getting tuk tuks to town and such. One thing that might be a problem is checked sized luggage. The path leading to the casa is not really conducive to anything with wheels. I hope it stays that way too. A backpack is your friend here as in most everywhere else in Guatemala. Enjoy

Positive: This place exceeded my expectations - it was perfect in every way and I hope to come back again! I had a whole house to myself, and it was in an area that was super quiet - perfect if you are looking for some peace and quiet! The house itself is very spacious and also very, very clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was wonderful to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore. The view in the morning was incredible - easily the best view on the Lake. Nicolas the owner was very friendly and helpful - for example, he gave me the phone number of a local tuk-tuk rider that I used during my time there. Nicolas, thank you for making my stay so comfortable!

Negative: Nothing. Everything was perfect

Positive: Location was beautiful, right on the water with a beautiful view from the up and downstairs, it was very removed from the busy tourist destinations elsewhere on the lake which we loved. Nikolas was friendly, responsive and helpful in bringing luggage to the house on arrival day. They have coffee available for mornings as well as a good stove top and refrigerator with necessary kitchen utensils.

Negative: The property itself was well located for the price, but I felt a bit mislead about a couple aspects of the listing. First off we were asked to pay cash for the house on the day of arrival, apparently this is the norm and wouldn’t have been an issue but it would have been nice if it had been stated before hand either in the listing or by message previous to arrival day. The house is spacious but feels shabbily built, the lighting is simply naked light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. The shower has extremely low water pressure and the water heater will make any lights that are turned on flicker or go out if you are taking a hot shower at night, also the water heater will sporadically turn off mid shower as well. To get to the house you have to walk 5-10 minutes on a dirt path along the lake get to the house which can be difficult with suitcases. There is also another rental house within arms distance of this one which was not shown in photos. The lake and volcano views are beautiful but the beach area does have trash along the coast and is not an area we felt comfortable jumping in from shore. Due to the remote location of the cabin it is almost necessary to get either a tuktuk or boat (unless you are willing to make the 20/30 minute walk) to get food or supplies, so I would suggest to bring food with you if you are planning to stay for a couple days. All in all we really enjoyed the place but these are just things I would have liked to know before booking as none of these things are mentioned in the listing.

Positive: This is an amazing place of you would like to relax ans fully enjoy the lake! You don’t have to do a hike to see an amazing sunrise. From this place you are front row! The house is very spacious, the bed is perfect, you will see lots of birds, butterflies and the people here are extremely friendly. San Pablo isn’t touristy at all, but it still has a couple of places for lunch and dinner. It is also very easy to go to the other villages, like San Juan and San Marcos. Nicolas can arrange this for you, but it is also easy to catch a TucTuc on the street.
