Nestled in remote Western Kentucky, on the banks of Lake Barkley and across from Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, is a luxurious yet rustic lake home known as Sunrise Serenity.
This beautiful, light-filled lake house is amazingly decorated with top-of-the-line construction and high-end furnishings and appliances. It’s perfect for those with large families or those just wanting a little extra space, elegance, and comfort.
A level, concrete driveway, with ample storage for vehicles or a boat trailer, leads you to the main level, stone entry with a rustic, tongue-and-groove, spruce ceiling and wall of lake view windows.
A large, open living space, featuring a stone fireplace adjoins a fabulous kitchen with an 8-foot island and seating for five. The dining room is open to the lake views and comfortably seats six, while the breakfast area seats two and is perfect for your morning coffee. Deck access is provided in two areas of the great room by bi-fold sliding doors.
The large master bedroom on the main level features a wall of windows showcasing Lake Barkley. Top-of-the-line king mattress, and a gorgeous view of the lake welcomes guests. The master bathroom includes a large soaker tub, separate shower, double vanity, walk-in closet, and deck access.
The two spacious second and third bedrooms on the main level have queen beds, and a shared full bathroom with two sinks. The hallway is closed from the main living area by hidden pocket doors for additional privacy. All main level bedrooms and the main living area have ceiling fans.
The deck on the main level provides abundant lake views. It includes lighting, an outdoor gas grill, and comfortable outdoor seating. The one-acre lot is landscaped with a gentle slope to the water and private dock. A concrete paved path leads you to the dock on a gentle slope accessible by all ages. An attached garage provides storage for your outdoor activity equipment.
The large, living space on the lower level, complete with a walkout wall of windows to the backyard, includes a 15-foot bar with refrigerator, new pool table with captains chair, card table, and leather sofas providing a great place to hang out and relax.
The remaining three of six bedrooms are located on the lower level. The fourth bedroom with two full beds and the fifth bedroom with two full/twin bunk combos share a bath. The sixth bedroom includes a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The upper level also includes an HE washer and dryer for guest use.

Summary: We came from Michigan for a week stay on Lake Barkley. The house was beautiful plenty of room for the 8 of us. The pool table was used every night as was the poker table. The views were amazing and the property was peaceful. The driveway and road to the house were a bit tricky for us, we aren't used to all the hills and curves that we encountered but we had a wonderful stay!

Summary: The house was amazing with a beautiful view. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out and the downstairs area with the pool table and bar was awesome. The house was very clean when we arrived. Overall it was a great and relaxing weekend stay.

Summary: Our grown children and families all met at this beautiful home. Great kitchen, deck, and quiet neighborhood. We loved the sunrises and enjoyed spotting an eagle several times. The children had a great time as well, and we all enjoyed "tournaments" around the pool table. Had a little trouble operating the TV and apps, but that wasn't our focus for this time. Would highly recommend this property.

Summary: Our family of 12 consists of three generations ages 18-83. We look forward to gathering together annually for a relaxing fall getaway. This is the best property we have found in several years. The large back yard was perfect for the whole family to play together. Although close to other houses, it felt very private The open floor plan allowed us to be together in the evening, some in the living room and others at the dining table playing games. The younger folks enjoyed the pool table and other games downstairs. We were able to use the barstools to fit all 12 of us around the table for meals. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The dock was a little narrow for fishing but our fisherman still managed to use it. There was ample room for parking our 5 vehicles and room for more if needed. Jeremy was quick to respond to our questions. We look forward to returning next year.
