This home enjoys amazing views, incredible sunsets, and a calming tranquility you won't find near the city. 3 Bedroom/2 Full Bathrooms with all essentials for a perfect get away!
Sunset Haven is a beautifully built brand-new home located in a very private setting with plenty of space between you and the neighbors. Located right on the shores of Lake Buchanan, you will have access to a private boat dock and the boat ramp is right on the way to the house only a few miles down the road. The house is equipped with amenities such as: large outdoor cooking patio with grill, sink, and fridge, corn hole game, washer pit, horseshoes, fishing poles and tackle provided, and life jackets are all provided for your enjoyment. Of course you are welcome to bring your favorite water toys to enjoy.
Pontoon boat, kayak, and Stand-up paddle board rentals are also available during your stay. Fishing charters and a private cruise captain are available and some will even pick you up right from the dock. Just ask for more information on those when you book.
Downstairs: Master bedroom has a king-sized bed. Both Guest Bedrooms are downstairs and each have a queen-sized bed. 1 couch and 2 loveseats in the living room are all sleepers have mattresses inside for additional sleeping options. Master bathroom has a walk-in shower and Guest bathroom has a soak tub and shower.
Upstairs: The office/flex space upstairs has amazing views and is furnished with a desk and reclining chairs. The desk has a wireless printer. Two twin mattresses are located in the closet for added sleeping options. The upstairs exterior door leads to a balcony and third floor star-gazing platform.
Flat screen TVs with internet connectivity are in the living room and master bedroom; all are smart devices. Quartz countertops in the kitchen and concrete floors downstairs, wood floors upstairs. Laundry room with high-efficient washer and dryer are included.
The large back patio is ideal for entertaining with a large outdoor kitchen with infrared propane grill and teak dining table with chairs. A Bluetooth enabled speaker system pipes your favorite music throughout the home.
Bring your boat or rent one to use while your here. Use the private boat dock to tie up your boat at night at no extra charge. The boat dock is also an excellent place to cast a line and fish any time. Fishing poles and tackle provided. Fishing can be excellent right from the dock. Striped bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, white bass and largemouth bass can all be caught while fishing from the dock. Or book a guided striper trip and have the guides pick you up right from the dock. Contact in advance for more information.
We are located just 20 minutes from Burnet with easy access to grocery shopping (HEB), dining and fuel stations.
We offer a relaxed cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to our guests.
Covid-19 Policy: We certainly want to make sure all of our guests feel safe. In between all rentals, we are taking extra precautions to ensure that everything is properly sanitized. We leave at least 4 hours between groups to allow for proper cleaning and sanitization. In addition to a regular thorough cleaning of the home and all surfaces with bleach products, we make sure to Lysol all fabric surfaces and clean all light switches and door handles. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns and we will make sure to address them the best we can.
Immerse yourself in our natural surroundings and pause from life’s everyday demands. Our lake house is unique in that you are not packed in close to your neighbors like some of the nearby lakes. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. Our house is among the best Texas Hill Country getaways.

Summary: We booked this trip to celebrate my fiancé’s 30th birthday and without question this was one of the most amazing houses we have ever stayed in for a vacation. The location is incredible and we enjoyed every inch of the house from the back porch, the star gazing pad up on the roof and down at the dock in the water. The dock allowed us to have our boats tied up overnight and we were able to also swim down by them too. Overall such a fun time and the house not only had everything it said it would, but more than we even expected. The house slept all 10 of us comfortably and everything was so clean and organized. Without a doubt we will be back for another stay! Thank you Dan & Stacy for hosting us.

Summary: We had a group of 7 come stay here for a week for my wife’s birthday and the 4th. The house was perfectly sized for us; we didn’t feel cramped at all. The house itself is really nice and recently built and had everything we needed. It’s secluded and quiet and was relaxing for our group and we’d probably stay here again in the future. Only 2 minor nitpicks for our stay: I’m not sure the pictures show just how far down the dock is from the house. It’s not long, just down quite a bit from the house, so lots of stairs. Second, we were excited to watch the fireworks from the 4th from the balcony on top of the house, but opening the door from the second floor we were met with a nest of spiders and tons of webs. Would have been nice to have that cleaned up before we arrived. The interior of the home was spotless however. Thank you for a great stay!

Summary: This property was absolutely breathtaking! The tranquility was much appreciated ; Stepping out onto the dock to fish or simply lounging on the balcony was an incredible experience. Summary: The house was clean and beautiful. And the neighborhood and location were nice. The owners were extremely knowledgeable and communicated well during our stay. The sunsets were amazing and access to a personal dock was great. The only thing that stopped this from being a 5 star review was some misleading information in the description. This house is listed as a place to spread out and relax with plenty of space between you and the neighbors. While there was plenty of space between us and the neighbors, we were not made aware until after we booked that there is a tenant a few yards away on the property. And she made her presence known. Without notice she would be at the front of the house watering the plant's about 7:30 to 7:45AM. The front doors and windows are floor to ceiling and with someone walking around it was very visible to our dogs there was a stranger there and they would start to bark. We tried to close the blinds completely but it was still noticeable to them. So waking up early every morning to our dogs barking at someone in the window was not great. She also showed up in the evening as well, unannounced to check on the plants. When we were BBQ-ing in the back patio one afternoon we were surprised to see about 5 ladies walking on the property passed us to go to the tenants house. Which of course freaked out our dogs as well as ourselves. With the tenant coming and going as they pleased we didnt really feel we had the privacy and relaxation as adadvertised.

Summary: This house is absolutely beautiful!!! It’s decorated beautiful! Has everything you possibly need. It is spotless! Great location! Has a lot to offer for any outdoor activity. Your own dock…for your boat. A very quiet and peaceful location. My family and friends that came by to visit are eager to vacation here. We will definitely come back!!! Our host Dan was amazing!!!
