Summary: Week at fishing cottage on Black Lake. The dock was a bit sketchy , fire ring and lake frontage nice. If you're looking for a five star stay it's probably not for you. It was nice to come back to the Black Lake area!

Summary: Very nice little lake house on Black Lake. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Ideal spot to watch great sunsets and enjoy the lake.

Summary: The cabin was great and fully stocked with everything you could need. The view of the lake was fantastic and the host was very friendly and easy to reach in case of an emergency. I lived here for 7 weeks and found it suited my needs perfectly.

Summary: Tranquil lake shore location. Grassy, shady lawn for viewing activities and wildlife on the lake and for watching the spectacular sunsets. Plenty of folding lawn chairs/rockers. One bedroom with private 1/2 bath plus common areas (no privacy) with multiple fold out sofa beds and full bath. No WiFi. Well equipped kitchen.

Summary: Great location. Cabin was nice but needs updates. Boat hoist and dock were in very hazardous condition. Owner was very accessible. No internet.

Summary: An adventure to find, even with Mapquest. Interior could use a good clean out, closets and cupboards filled with way too much accumulated “stuff”. No A/C as listed. Grass not cut prior to or during stay. Would make an OK guy fish/ hunt camp. 1 bedroom, not 2 as listed. Needs a good maintainence overhaul.

Summary: My boyfriend, son, and I stayed here for a week and it was the getaway we were hoping for. Ken is very friendly, easy to communicate with, and made our first Homeaway experience a very positive experience. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. There are TONS of dishes, cookware, and utensils, as well as blankets and towels. There are games, VHS tapes, and a flat screen TV for rainy days or at night. The view from the cabin is beautiful and the firepit by the shore is perfect. We look forward to our next visit and many more to come! Thank you, Ken, for sharing your home and giving us the opportunity to make new memories.
