Positive: This lodge is truly extraordinary and without a doubt one of the most incredible places I have ever stayed. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world. Nestled in the heart of the national park, surrounded by nature and complete silence, it offers a sense of peace that is hard to put into words. With only three beautifully designed rooms, the atmosphere is intimate, exclusive, and incredibly relaxing. The property features comfortable hammocks, a lovely open dining area, and countless places to sit back and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. The food was outstanding, and every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. A special mention goes to the owner, Pramesh. Besides being an exceptional host, he is also an experienced safari guide whose knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm made every safari an unforgettable experience. You can immediately tell how much he loves what he does, and that passion is contagious. Every outing was exciting, well organized, and full of fascinating wildlife. His wife, Noemi, was equally wonderful—always kind, caring, and ready to help with anything. Together, they created an atmosphere where I felt genuinely welcomed and completely at home. If you’re looking for an authentic experience surrounded by wildlife, peace, and genuinely amazing people, this is the place. I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough.

All staff are very friendly, attentive, and eager to share their knowledge of the surrounding countryside and wildlife. Food is excellent, a shared table with our hosts and other guests. Positive: Really nice, comfortable bungalows with a warm interior and atmosphere. The Lodge has only 3 bungalows and this makes it special and personal. The owners are friendly and helpful. They also offer safaris with experienced guides who are knowing the jungle.

Positive: Very good Food. Nice and friendly staff and the jungle safaris are amazing. I can highly recommend this Hotel. It has only three huts, So it is super quiet. Everything is very clean and cozy.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Sunsetview Bardia. It is beautifully located between rice paddies, right next to the Sunset point and just a 5min drive away from the Nationalpark entrance. Pramesh is a wonderful host, who will make you feel at home at once and help you with anything needed. Same goes for the staff who additionally cook tasty food. Furthermore Pramesh is a very good guide who makes sure to make most out of your jungle safari. We enjoyed our homely stay and will definitely come back, should we be in Bardiya again.

Positive: We felt like home I highly recommend to stay in Sunset View Lodge. It is run by a young couple, they are very friendly, nice and helpful. The jungle guides have a lot of experience and knowledge. The bungalow rooms are really beautiful and made with a lot of attention to detail. Besides, the food is really really good, fresh and all local. We felt like home and we were sad to say goodbye to this little family. See you hopefully very soon!

Positive: Following my trek to Annapurna Base Camp, I wanted to experience Bardia National Park and enjoy an authentic taste of Nepali life. Sunsetview Jungle Lodge was the perfect choice. Pramesh was an excellent host and guide. The property is beautifully designed, well maintained, and feels like a little piece of heaven. It is the perfect getaway and base to experience the delights of Bardia National Park. The food was excellent, with delicious local dishes prepared with skill and care by the chefs. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Pramesh and his team. They were friendly, attentive, and a joy to talk to throughout my stay. The lodges themselves have everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Mosquito nets, insect repellent, hot water, comfy bed, 2 fans, secure locking door, towels, excellent WiFi and coffee! The experiences in the National Park were second to none. Pramesh’s deep knowledge of the park and his incredible insight into animal behaviour meant we had the most unforgettable encounters, including elephants and even a Bengal tiger. I couldn’t have hoped for more. Thank you so much to Pramesh and the whole team for such a wonderful experience.
