Positive: Everything was perfect and lovely. Clean, pristine and cozy flat. The AC is working perfectly making the apartment cool and comfortable. An extra bed for the kid was provided with no extra fees. Towels , toiletries and cutlery were provided. It’s so spacious and the balcony is a perfect add for clothes to dry plus a lovely sitting looking over the beach. Location is amazing near to every single place and beach in Sarande. Last but not least, Marsi (the host )and her family are extremely lovely, friendly and warm welcoming.

Just perfect.** You step outside and you're immediately on the promenade; another minute and you're already at the city's free public beach. One of the balconies has a direct sea view, which is very pleasant. A grocery store is within walking distance—about a 7-minute walk. There are also smaller, more expensive shops nearby. The apartment has a modern stove with an oven, medium-sized pots (not huge), a frying pan, a fridge, a TV, a washing machine, and an air conditioner (only in the main room), but it was more than enough for me. There's a small elevator in the building, and luckily, my small stroller fit in it. The host was very attentive and friendly—ready to help with anything. We were even able to check in earlier. We stayed for almost two weeks with kids and had everything we needed! **Thank you, Marci, for the warm welcome!**

I didn’t really like the shower because the tiles would get wet and slippery after using it, and water would splash everywhere. If I were to be really picky, having a high chair would have made things easier for me with a small child. Overall, these downsides are quite common for Albania. I stayed in different apartments over the course of a month, and almost all of them had the typical "inconvenient shower," no high chair for the baby, and rarely a kettle. So, these are just minor things. The vacation was wonderful!

Positive: Our first night in Albania and we couldn't have wished for better. The apartment is less than 10 minutes walk from the port and is situated between Hotel Ari and Lazet restaurant right on the promenade, opposite the Welcome to Sarande steps. It doesn't have a sign but the owner will meet you at the shop or restaurant below. We seriously could not have been happier with this apartment. The view was stunning. Everywhere was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. The building has a lift and everywhere is clean. The neighbours were super nice, some of them spoke English and were friendly and chatty. Even those who didn't speak English always had a smile and a wave. Marsi is really sweet and her apartment is modern, clean, bright and airy. The location is perfect and everywhere can be reached by foot including the bus station (there's a shortcut through the car park at the back) We loved it so much that we decided to come back to Sarande the following week for an extra night and Marsi kindly helped us to book with her neighbour (Hotel Elena) as, sadly for us, her apartment was already booked. It's so nice to see these young ladies all working together to help each out, we really do wish them well. Thank you Marsi, We hope to be back again next year. Jacqueline and Marshall

Negative: Nothing to dislike and nothing directly to do with the apartment, but something to bear in mind if arriving from outside Albania. Our ferry unexpectedly was late and we arrived in the middle of a storm. We didn't sort our sim cards so we had no way to contact anyone. If you're in the same situation, ask for help from a local, or a shop or find a cafe with wifi - you def don't need a taxi (even in a storm) - Albanians go out of their way to help you. Marsi will come down and meet you at the restaurant below. With hindsight the best advice would be to get your sim card and money immediately, but we were tired, hungry and the rain was bouncing.

Positive: Great location! Cool view. Very easy to get to the main promenade and right by the public transportation options. Easy to get to anywhere to eat and swim. Bed was comfortable.

Negative: There was a dog in the building that would bark non-stop for our entire stay during the day. Finding the place had its troubles initially.

Summary: Sarande beach getaway on a budget! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative.

Positive: The house was spotlessly clean, it was equipped and very close to the sea. The hostess was very kind and sweet. The location was excellent because there were many shops near the house. I recommend it and I will prefer it again when I visit it again.
