Positive: It was cozy , quiet & relatively clean.

Negative: The carpeting is lumpy & should probably be replaced. The vintage soda machine being out of order & them charging double for the same pop at the front desk. I didn’t appreciate the envelope asking for tips for the housekeeper. I have never seen that before .

Summary: A place to lay my head for a night.

Positive: The staff were very friendly! The room was nice and warm. Outside temperature was very cold with strong winds. Slept very well. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Negative: Toilets too low for older tall people. Bathrooms very clean!!

Summary: Enjoyed the stay and will do again.

Positive: Stayed here for Nordic Fest weekend. The room was spacious.

Negative: The check in process was a mess. The front space lady was nice but so stressed. The computer system was down. She almost gave us keys to a room with people in it because they were teaching occupied rooms on sticky notes. Only 3 pillows on the king bed and really rough paint jobs everywhere. It just didn’t feel loved. The AM staff seemed rude as they were on their cell phones and didn’t seem interested in serving guests. 😬

Summary: Try to start in Decorah if you can; skip this one!
