Summary: Room is old. Walls were dirty toilet ran and ran then would stop. The shower tho? Perfect! The pressure is amazing

Summary: This hotel is somewhat of an enigma. I want to first of all state clearly that all of the front desk staff with whom I interacted were incredibly kind and welcoming. Decorations were festive. It is clear that there have been some renovations going on. Our room was adequate and nicely decorated, but I can't honestly say that the room was well-cleaned. I would have rated the stay higher except for my experience at the breakfast. The selection and space were fine. However, the hygiene standards were greatly lacking. Of course, I can't know exactly how long, but it looked as though the inside of the microwave hadn't been cleaned in some time. In addition the outside of the trash can was dirty, and the some of the food seemed that it had been out for too long. It is true that you get what you pay for, but there are other good, affordable options if you don't need to stay in Grayson.
