Positive: Overall, briefly but to the point: the room is TOP 10/10 for the money, I’ll explain. Yes, it’s a student area, so it’s noisy outside because there are a couple of great nightclubs nearby where people actively hang out—but that’s expected in a student district. At the same time, right next to the building there’s a Billa supermarket, lots of cafés, restaurants, snack places, a great Domino’s pizzeria, and excellent transport connections (from the airport to Dimitrov metro station, then just a couple of bus stops). The hotel itself can also be noisy at times since other people are staying there, but it’s safe! No one bothered me, approached me, or anything like that—which is important. As for the room—I was satisfied (even though I had read all the reviews beforehand and had doubts). The bed linen was clean, two fresh towels, toilet paper, soap, hot water in the shower, a very clean and tidy room, nothing was falling apart—everything was great. Also, a big solid door. The building itself isn’t perfect, but you can see it’s well maintained—the floors are cleaned daily. Special thanks to the receptionist—very polite and positive, explained everything, showed me the room, and even taught me a couple of words in Bulgarian)) Would I stay there again when I’m back in Sofia? Definitely yes. For this price, it’s top! 🇸🇪
