Positive: The location was brilliant as only 10min walk from the train station and a 5 min walk to the marina with lots of restaurants
Negative: The apartment was rather tired looking and felt very much a families home with lots of their belongings about. We weren’t aware when we booked that there were extra charges for bedding, towels, wifi, etc until closer to the time which was rather disappointing. There’s no safe in the apartment so nowhere to leave any valuables, money or passport. The dishwasher door was missing and even though it said there’d be a toaster and microwave there were neither. There was only air conditioning in the bedroom and we struggled to use both the TV and wifi as no instructions within the apartment. We also weren’t made aware that someone would call weekly to water the plants etc. The first time we were sitting on the balcony and they let themselves into the apartment which was a huge surprise. Generally communication (once we had to deal direct with the agents) was rather difficult as there was a language barrier plus responses to emails weren’t very prompt, especially close to our arrival.
Summary: We had a fantastic stay in the south of France but we probably wouldn’t stay in this apartment again
